Outstanding staff that really make an effort to ensure all guests feel welcome and included. The result is a friendly community feel among the guests who like to socialize around the pool and during happy hour.
Due to the limited space on the property there are not enough lounge chairs around the pool.

I liked the size of the room and the amenities. I love the fact that you had chairs and umbrellas to borrow.
Didn't like the bars of soap, they felt like sandpaper. It's supposed to be clothing optional but hardly anyone goes naked. The pool is way too warm it's not refreshing.

Fantastically friendly and helpful staff.
Matt was a wonderful host; whether he offered to carry your suitcase to your room, or top up your coffee or do some handyman work around the property. He always did it with a smile. I really enjoyed Tom’s playful sense of humor, and Phil could mix a wonderful drink. The owner was a gregarious man who lived next door. Overall, I enjoyed the chattiness and ease of meeting people from around the world. You could stay in a big chain, but where would you have a sense of community such as at the Big Coconut.
I felt the first room I stayed in was a little tired. The furniture could’ve used a steam cleaning.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The courtyard is small but pleasant with tropical planting - a nice place to have the simple breakfast and good coffee. The room was spacious and had everything we needed.
The room in general was dated and in need of upgrading. Both the aircon and the (huge) refrigerator were extremely noisy - we had to switch them off at night. The bathroom sink had obviously been 're-enamelled' at some point and the paint was flaking off. The location just off Sunrise is very noisy. Apart from our hotel in Key West, this was the most expensive accommodation per night of our trip to Florida but unfortunately was far from the best.
