A short, pleasant stay in a calm Franconian haven.
Pros:

This being a last-minute reservation, we were especially pleased with the location near the Vierzehnheiligen and Booking's discount. Our room was spacious, and the staff at the end of the dinner service did not make us feel rushed.

Cons:

Breakfast selection could have been more extensive, and we were sorry that there was nobody at the desk to welcome us at a hotel of this standing. However, we had been warned that would be the case.

Tolle Aussicht auf Kloster Banz, abends im Restaurant ausgezeichnetes Saiblingsfilet auf Kürbisrisotto und Kartoffelstroh genossen, gutes Frühstück und bequeme Betten. Für Elektrofahrräder gibt es gute Abstellmöglichkeit und Lademöglichkeit

Pros:

Schöne Lage mit direktem Blick auf das Kloster Banz. Reichhaltiges Frühstück und abends gehobene Küche. Separater abgeschlossener Fahrradabstellraum mit Lademöglichkeit. Ausreichend Parkplätze vor dem Hotel und ein origineller Kinderspielplatz ist vorhanden.

Uns gefiel die Lage, um viele Ausflüge zu machen.

Cons:

Wir hatten ein altes, abgewohntes Zimmer, Schimmelfugen in der Dusche, keine Mögl, Handtücher richtig zu trocknen, schäbigen Bett, Löcher in der Wand.

Nett, aber nicht perfekt
Pros:

Die Umgebung, es ist sehr ländlich gelegen. Die Dusche hatte einen guten Wasserdruck und das Wasser war angenehm warm. Das Personal am Frühstück war sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer sowie das Badezimmer ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und könnte eine Renovierung vertragen. Da Frühstücksbuffet war in Ordnung aber jetzt nicht weltbewegendes. Wir hatten hier eine andere Erwartungshaltung, da wir sehr oft in der Obermain-Therme sind und das Bistro dort auch von dem gleichen Gastronom geführt wird -und hier ist das Essen immer absolute Spitzenklasse!
