We highly recommend this hotel
Pros:

We spent the three months of the winter living of 2026 on the ski slopes living at Cendevaves Hotel. Our Alpine Silence Suite, with its 95 square meters (1022 square feet), had been prepared for our arrival and personalized by Noah Stuffer (966.89€/US$1139 per night all-inclusive with half board).
All during our stay, Noah took very good care of us. Noah is one of the three sons of the family Stuffer that owns and operates the hotel and restaurant on the land that the family has owned for generations. The whole family was in residence during our winter stay. They and the rest of the staff were wonderful to us.
Our Alpine Silence Suite was very comfortable, with a separate living room and desk for Dimitri. The bedroom was large enough for a desk for Audre, so we were all set. (We only had one big bathroom that we learned to share without too much inconvenience.)
Off of both the living room and bedroom were terraces, one with our private Jacuzzi that we could set at our desired 39 degrees. The views of the Sassolungo and Sasso Piatto Mountains were spectacular, even though they were cut off by the hotel's roof line.
We had our very own ski room with drying lockers and a door that opened onto our private piste (with a little uphill climb of 15 steps to be honest).
Our entry hall was large and had a long bench with a hanging rack above for our coats. There was a window looking north with views of the spectacular Odle Range and the town of Santa Cristina. The views from our suite were really to die for (but we wished the Finish Line sign for the Santa Cristina ski school race course did not interfere with them).
There was so much closet space that we were able to fully unpack (summer and winter clothes) and put everything away. (We used the large sauna in our room for storage.)
With our half board, we enjoyed the dinners as well as the breakfasts provided. The food at dinner was diverse, tasty, and creative. While they did repeat, we were happy with the choices. Since, we could not finish the 4 course meals, we took leftovers back to our mini-fridge. We had wonderful lunches at our dining table in our suite.
Before dinner, we would go to the lobby bar and have our glass of Cendevaves water with the nibbles provided by Dan or Amar. Dan and Amar, as well as the rest of the staff, were attentive to us, and we enjoyed getting to know them. Sometimes people talked to us, sometimes no one in the hotel came to the bar area before dinner--it depended on the guests in the hotel that week. We did have some enjoyable conversations with other guests. Sometimes, grandmother Maria Stuffer would come to talk to us before dinner. With her we could practice our Italian. Everyone spoke such good English we had little opportunity to practice our Italian.
At breakfast, Harish, in the kitchen, made us the eggs we wanted (even using our egg poacher!) as well as porridge. They even made us French Toast the way we like it as well as an Omelette Nuvolette. Alessandra took care of us in the dining room. Alessandra in the breakfast restaurant and Enzo in the kitchen were a delightful couple to get to know.
Francesco, from Puglia, was knowledgeable and professional at breakfast and at dinner. He and Rubin, the Stuffer's middle son, were in charge of the restaurant. They did a great job of organizing and orchestrating the meals. Rubin arranged for special orders of oysters for us; we truly enjoyed them!
The housekeeping team was great for us. Each midday and evening we would have lovely service. Michaela, Lilly Masali and Ghita were delightful.
The hotel had an adequate gym and a wonderfully heated pool. We started doing laps, and it was really good exercise. The pool area had a large outdoor Jacuzzi that was set a temperature we could enjoy. So, when our private Jacuzzi was being repaired, we enjoyed the main one.
When we had a medical problem, the Stuffers worked with us to allow us to leave a little earlier than originally planned. We truly appreciated how well they looked after us and we highly recommend this hotel.

Blissed out honeymooners on skis
Pros:

My husband and I spent a week at Hotel Cendevaves on our honeymoon and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! I did an extensive amount of research to decide where to go, so I will explain the highlights that made this an unforgettable trip.

As advanced skiers, we wanted to find a hotel with ski on/ski off access to the slopes. With snow being inconsistent these days, most hotels that advertise as ski on/ski off actually are not, as the snow does not reach the property line. Cendevaves, however, has this reliable ski access, including a dedicated locker room that warms your gear overnight! Every morning we were able to exit the locker room directly onto a groomed piste and to a major chairlift in the Dolomiti Superski network. Being January, there may not have been consistent natural snow, but the Dolomiti snowmaking teams are the best in the world at replenishing coverage & grooming every night to allow for flawless skiing for hundreds of miles. We skied for 6 days straight, traveling about 50 miles per day on skis (including lifts), and still left more to discover!

The location of Cendevaves is perfect because you can ski right onto the Sella Ronda and therefore any Dolomiti ski resort, catch the quick underground ski train (included with ski pass) through S. Cristina to Seceda mountain network, or take a ski bus (for an easy €5) from outside the hotel to Alpi di Suisi. The positioning of the hotel allows for perfect access, with the most beautiful descent home on skis in the alpen glow at the end of each day. One thing about the beauty of this hotel is you feel the peace on the mountain in the evening, with the spa amenities to look forward to before a gourmet 5 course dinner. Being on the mountain means you leave behind the ski town scene, but in my opinion you have that all day across the mountains stopping in various hüttes for a bite, mulled wine, etc.

The food at Cendevaves is incredible. Believe me when I say you will not leave the dining room hungry and every taste bud will be touched. The ingredients are fresh and top quality, variety of cuisine is extensive, and the presentation is gorgeous. We were filled to the brim every night, fueled for the next day of skiing. Breakfast is equally satisfying and nourishing!

We made use of the gym (brand new free weights, stationary bike, treadmill, etc!), spa areas (sauna, steam room, hot tub, pool, relaxation areas). All top notch.

Can’t say enough about the housekeeping staff who keep the property spotless and rooms sparkling! Also loved the mountain spring water tap in the room.

I’m sure I missed plenty of details. Thank you to every staff member for your generosity, the owners truly work so hard to manage this incredible property!!

Loved it
Pros:

Our family spent a week at Cendevaves. It was one of the best hotel experiences we have had. Every detail is so well thought-out. I had a ton of questions beforehand and they were all graciously answered immediately via their website messaging function. From the ski locker (awesome), ski-in/ski-out location, serene atmosphere to the delicious food, wellness area, and amazing hospitality we were more than pleased. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautiful, again with every convenience anticipated for guests. We travel a lot, and with this family owned property, the care and attention to detail sets it apart. We would love to return. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Thanks to the family who owns and works the property, these guys are exceptional.
Pros:

Everything they did was up to par with what you'd expect at that price point. The fact that they were all friendly and talkative is a plus, in some cases they would reach out asking to make your stay even better, which are the two reasons for rating them a great value for your money.

Cons:

My stay with them was as pleasant as ever, minor inconveniences didn't bother me since they keep making sure all my wants are fulfilled.
