Please note that Wildflower Hall is at an altitude of 8,250 feet, which can lead to altitude related sicknesses in elderly guests and guests with a medical condition. In some cases, this can be serious and require hospitalization. Please note that the name on the credit card used for the booking should correspond to the guest staying at the property. For reservations made by a third party, you will need to complete an authorization form and present a copy of the person's ID and credit card.

When booking more than 5 rooms, additional supplement will apply along with nonrefundable deposit for the entire stay.

A mandatory meal supplement of INR 12390 and INR 14160 per person is applicable for guests staying on 24th December and 31st December respectively, payable at the hotel directly.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. I felt the staff rushed us through our breakfast. They wanted to clear plates while we were working on our food even during lunch. We were well within breakfast closing time. Holiday breakfasts are meant to be leisurely. :)

Don’t think twice, it’s worth it!
Pros:

Where to start?!:)
Shimla is far from the Chandigarh airport and the road leading there is not the best but the destination is worth it.
I will not compare it to the alps because India is unique but if you like to see stunning mountain views in a cozy setting this is the place to visit.
Everything from the transfer pick-up experience by The Oberoi till the check-out, is exceptional.
The staff went beyond the call of duty to make our stay memorable (Loki, Sahil, Kaushik, Shadab, Sanjay, Rajat… to name a few).
Gorgeous property, fantastic views, outdoor heated pool (yes at freezing temperature), amazing food...
Last but not least huge shout-out to Sunit, the GM. When the GM is consistently on the floor overlooking every single detail, you know you are well taken care of.
Highly recommended!

Cons:

You can always find small meaningless things to criticize but nothing really worth mentioning. Book it, its worth it!
