Hotel with poor conditions. Room was booked for 2 double beds and on check in they offered room with extra foldable bed.

There was a rat running through the restaurant.

The hotel is a old property but it appears that the rooms have been renovated. The rooms are quite spacious, well maintained and clean. The lift is a small and old one but no complaints as it works fine. The television has almost most channels working, which is quite rare in most hotels nowadays. Food is very tasty though vegetarian options are limited. Breakfast has a good variety and was enjoyable. The only downside is the limited kerbside parking in front of the hotel. But this problem is common for most hotels in Kolhapur.

The room serviced is pretty ok not worth the amount they charge for. There was no hot water also in room. They promise a lot for break fast and only 3-4 options available suggest look for another hotel if stating in Kolhapur. Better to pay a bit more and get decent service

The rooms are spacious . Even after accomodating extra bed there was lot of space for 2 chairs and cofee table. Lighting in rooms is not good. Toilets needs complete renovation. The rooms need new paint with additional lights.

The dinner was very tasty specially Mutton Thali and Mutton Rogan Josh. Qty was very good and service was also good. We checked in Late at 8pm but still hot water was available to take bath and to get fresh. Linen was clean . Carpets in the corridors are worn out and faded.

Breakfast had very few items but the seating was spacious and clean. Parking is a problem if you check in late at night because then u have to park on road away from Hotel.

Staff was helpful and polite. The rate we paid for one night for 3 pax is 4900/-. The rate seems to be high considering the old finishes and lack of facilities such as parking, limited BF menu. In the same rate we had stayed in Four Points Sheraton in Pune including BF and dinner.

Property need to be renovated immediatelty

We had a great trip to Kolhapur. Hotel Pearl provided us with an enjoyable stay. All staff members were very obliging and courteous. The food was great. We would like to thank them for arranging special missal pau for breakfast at our request. It was a real sweet gesture.
A big thank you to all the staff members from front office, fnb, restaurant, housekeeping and the security personnel !
Food is really awesome at Hotel Pearl. We enjoyed the continental stuff.

Had a good time here. Safe. Clean. Courteous and helpful staff. Tasty breakfast, though lunch and dinner has limited vegetarian options. I have stayed here multiple times and have never been disappointed.

Pearl is an old place in Kolhapur, a prestigious address in good old days. Happened to stay here after years, probably decade. The hotel has renovated nicely. Rooms were nicely done. Comforts were okay. Toilets also good. Not certainly lavish, but reasonably upmarket. Lights and points (ample), a/c, toilet fittings all smooth. Upholstery clean. Provided with refrigerator, Kettle and safe. Room service and house keeping good (Some old folks in housekeeping with mannerism reminding of bygone days). Food taste also good. Cost okay. Breakfast needs more variety.

Old property with character and a musty odour. The wifi did not log on inspite of trying for about 20 min and since I had a good 4G signal I did not bother. They have a 'Permit Room' where the locals come and drink their lethal Punch, which is worth a try. The restaurant has a decent Kolhapuri thali, but there were quite a few locals eating other stuff. And at breakfast next morning, the cut wadas and loni dosas were new to me and quite good.

Pearl has made our single night stay memorable. Safe n easy to find location, Cozy room, finger licking food, clever & obedient staff are the key to there success. Kolhapur special mutton fry thali was the cherry on the top.

The hotel is absolutely amazing. The staff are so friendly, helpful & hardworking. The entertainment has been spot on every night they definitely know how to have a laugh, Bobby & Carlos are top they go that extra mile for everyone and make you feel really welcome. The rooms are so clean and well presented. The staff are always so chatty and friendly, if I could rate higher for this hotel I definitely would and I will definitely be coming back again sometime in the near future.

Hotel pearl is good hotel to stay im kholhapur... the hotel is also clean and or also the staff is helpfull to the guest... also the rooms are clean ...good smile in the room and the restaurant is also clean nad good service

I was really worried from the moment i entered the Hotel, at the recieption they was a lady who was yelling on top her voice, as we entered the Restaurant i Ordered for one On the rock Scotch and to my surprise the waiter bought a glass and is asking "ice kitna dalo saheb"....i was like ....really. The food earlier used to be nice not good, but these day it is worst sorry Pathetic. Also the linen on the Dine table was dirty.

Very near to the city center...all market area, restaurants options are nearby...decent accommodation...value for money options for room...Attached restaurant and bar...nice local food...mainly delight for nonveg lovers...Every day the bar is open....no so called dry days...this is really unique feature of this the only place like that in Kolhapur

We stayed at this hotel on way to Goa for a night. If one puts ticks on a checklist, then room has every facility. However, fixtures show signs of wear and tear. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable.
Common areas are in desperate need of renovation.
Breakfast spread is good. Service is prompt and excellent.
Having stayed in this hotel often over last forty years one feels concerned about the lack of investments.

We did not like this hotel at all , we faced many challenges , the toilet cock was not working , in the shower only hot water was coming as the know was completely gone , we had called the staff but they took helped just time being , the bathroom floor was too slippery and dangerous, next day while paying the bills we have told the manager but he was dumb and was not commenting and was just laughing like a crack guy , saying oh is it , this is not a hotel but just a lodge where you have to enter your name in the register while entry - can you please improve

Pearl is located in the New Shahupuri area in Kolhapur. Its pretty near to the Railway station and city centre. The only mall in Kolhapur DSK mall is about 2 kms. The food was pretty good though the breakfast was just average. Rooms are big and clean. Overall its a good option at a great price.

My wife and myself have been using this hotel for the last ten years.most of the hotel staff is very good nd helpful,we always get the same room we liked.Room sercive is excellent, some time we have used hotel restaurent but some time we felt parish at odd times we liked some food,and Sheff has prepared fresh and delicious dishes.this hotel is away from town and terrific is reasonable,I would recommend for any one visiting this historic city.this hotel is clean and room is cleaned every day.
