Een heerlijk rustpunt bij aankomst vanuit of vertrek naar de luchthaven.
Pros:

Ik heb genoten van de stijlvolle architectuur, de rustgevende vijvertjes en planten, het vriendelijke onthaal, het heerlijke bed, de rust, het uitgebreide ontbijt, de vlotte communicatie voor de taxi vanuit de luchthaven.

Quiet out-of-centre stay with comfortable room, good breakfast and evneing meals on request.
Pros:

N.B. this review also relates to my previous stay as one of a group 7-20 February 2026. Good South Indian breakfast served, staff determined to please. Quiet location in safe neighbourhood, Hotel enhanced with appealing small gardens and lounge spaces. Very helpful staff on the desk. Spacious room, period furniture. Dinner served on request most evenings.

Cons:

The room I had for 13 nights 7-20 Feb was found for me at short notice and, while very spacious, it had no view outside and poor wi-fi, better in lounge near reception. Minor issues with mosquitoes, but staff would come with electric bats. The room I had for 1 night 24-25 Feb was better.

Very well marinated facility, clean and courteous staff

Cons:

The location of the property was very posh but unfortunately that meant we couldn’t find any cabs that were ready to pick us up from there without demanding extra money. This is of course no fault of the property’s.

Cons:

It was so smelly. I checked in around 2 pm just to drop my luggage. Had to wait 20 mins at reception for check in. Place was smelling like gutter. Staff explained it is due to disinfectant.

I came back from client meeting at 430 pm and the place was still smelling shit. I asked them to check out. Never used any facility in the hotel.

They did not care to refund any amount even though I had to leave the facility due to shitty smell.

All reviews you see from foreigners - they are lured for Yoga sessions and they find a cheap place to stay here.

IBIS would be better than this at half a cost.

I would recommend Niketana in a heartbeat
Pros:

Location is very central. The house is kept with a lot of love and its evident in the cleaniliness. I was a little apprehensive as i am a solo female traveller. But i didn't feel unsafe at all.

An overall disappointing stay
Pros:

The property has a heritage charm and is in a quiet leafy location

Cons:

- The service was very inattentive. One staff member was particularly rude. The rest of them would somehow try to help, but are not well trained.
- The breakfast is terrible: no fresh fruit, just a few basic dishes which are not tasty.
- The room was dusty and with mosquitoes inside of it
- While the property is surrounded by greenery, views from rooms are essentially on the walls
