Loved the location , the employees are awesome, love it!!! It made me feel home, safe.
I liked everything.
Long but interesting. Arrived on 2-21 Saturday, pv cartel troubles were Sunday 2-22 am. I was walking out the door at 830am the owner/mngr, Francisco, told me to stay inside and to hide in one of the rooms. He went around the rooms and told people to stay inside. The hotel is on frnc I Madero st, main road exiting city, 7 cars were burning just outside our street. The fire burned elec wires, no internet no electricity. This is where the staff and ownership made an incredible effort to help us . The owner opened his house, down the street, so we could charge phones. The city was shut down Sunday and Monday. No food or water , the city shut down.
The owners let us make breakfast in their kitchen on Monday, all 15 ish guest were treated w respect and were made to feel safe. The owner runs a humble 1 star 'economico' hotel, it's not fancy , elderly pensioners live here (vulnerable). When this emergency happened , the character of the hotel staff and ownership came out, and these people went above and beyond to help everyone . It truly was a wonderful experience to have been there in such trying and stressful conditions. Stay one or two nights there and then go somewhere else. You'll see the difference that good people can make . It's not a fancy hotel , but I would stay here every day 2x on Sunday .
It's a 1 star hotel , only cash is accepted for walk ins. As stated above , the owner /staff make a humble hotel worth
Staying .
Friendly staff
Staff and location. Very lovely staff, who were very responsive...I would go back there because of them. Love the location...everything was walkable.
Poor water pressure for showering. Toilet/sink/shower in need of serious upgrades.
Wonderful authentic hotel very inexpensive and an excellent staff. The location is absolutely perfect and gives you access to all the Rio Cuale and Zona Romantica. This is a very "economical" hotel, but it's clean and wonderful.
Friendly staff that made me feel right at home! Very affordable, great location (very central), hot water, clean, safe and comfortable!
Good value. Family- run. Authentic feel.
No real complaints. It’s a bit noisy at times. No lock box in the room, but the family is always there.
Location
Cleanliness
comfy and friendly and very good location, very considerate staff. nice shower.
i was at the front near the lobby which was pretty noisy with staff hanging out all night...ask to be moved to the back of the hotel!
The hotel is exactly what others described, economical, efficient. It has my top 3 (clean, safe, and comfortable beds). The location is supreme and quite a lively street. I recommend and would stay again.
Having 1 key for 2 guests was the only inconvenience.
location. also a cool ‘youth hostel for grown ups’ vibe.
Very friendly and great location
Bed wasn't comfortable, the hotel was too loud the walls were thin, tio much light through the door, had to sit sideways on the toilet cuz the wall was too close. The lights kept turning off randomly like while I was showering
Location
I don’t need a 4 star hotel , but one where things work.. Broken mirror, false contact in the main light of the room. sealing fun noisy and untighten The price that Booking.com is selling the hotel is lot more expensive than the one listed in the hotel. I booked a room with air conditioning ( I called the propriety) to be sure about it and I had it just the 2 last nights out of 5.
