Liebevoll geführtes Schloss
Pros:

Despite the obvious needs for development, a great experience as a one night stay.
Pros:

A spacious and attractive bedroom in a fabulous old building.
The reception staff could not have been more helpful.

Cons:

This property is a work in progress, with the restaurant being upgraded at the time we stayed and many of the normal hotel facilities needing to be developed. The potential is clearly enormous - our stay was perhaps too early.

Good looking place with pleasant staff and good parking.
Pros:

The castle is great to look at ,has plenty of parking spaces, the room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable and the shower was good once you found out how to work it. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast at the Old Post Office in the village was very good.

Cons:

All the windows had cobwebs on the outside and looked like they had never been cleaned in years it spoiled the ambiance of the place. The kitchen was being renovated so we had to walk down to the village to get breakfast, it was okay because it was a sunny day this may not have been very pleasant if it had been raining.

Pros:

we thought the staff was very helpful and could'nt do enough for you.

Cons:

It was a bit too expensive, and the decor wasn't finished to a high standard for the price, it looks nice from outside and the gardens are nice, just inside let's it down a bit

Pros:

Highly recommend if you enjoy castles and history. If I was getting married this would be my choice. Staff were exceptional and we wish the owners all the luck in the world. Breakfast was also top notch.

Cons:

Everything had been considered to ensure a perfect stay. We have nothing negative to say. If you're on your way to Scotland this is where to go

Staying at Otterburn Castle feels like staying with good friends.
Pros:

The breakfasts we had were superb. We had dinner in the Castle one evening. Exceptional.
The castle itself is well worn, lived in and very, very comfortable

Cons:

I would have appreciated a few more toiletries in the room especially hand and body cream. And some cotton wool for make up removal. And maybe a few biscuits!

Pros:

Wonderful setting. Enthusiastic new owners full of positivity.

Cons:

Because it is just starting up the breakfast choice is poor, although the hot food was cooked well.
