The location of the hotel was excellent with ample room for parking.
Someone had obviously been smoking in the bathroom and there was a smell of nicotine which I found disgusting, I did point this out to the reception and asked them if they could spray something to take the smell away but no action was taken
All of the staff were helpful and gave the impression they enjoyed it.
The TV was a little small and should have been on the wall at the foot of the bed.

The staff were really excellent 👌 the breakfast was of good quality, good ingredients. And plenty to choose from. The evening meal was excellent, I mean really top food. Piping hot and tasty. In fact, I said I would even go back just for the food. Even if I wasn't staying there. All staff members were really welcoming, and very helpful. Absolutely I would stay again.
The only gripe I had with the hotel. Is the really loud clunky fire doors on the rooms. You get this in Travelodge. I know it's fire regulations. But really? In 2025. They can't fit a soft shut door. I mean, don't get me wrong. They can be shut quietly. I always do this. But of course, you always get the ones that just let the door slam. It boils my wee wee.
