Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Freundliches Personal
It's only short walk to the seafront and across the millenium bridge to reach the city. Parking was 10 quid per night, it was good, secure and well lit, can even see my car from my room. Continental breakfast was good at 7 quid. Bed was huge and shower was good.
The TV was too small and it's not a smart TV. Room was very dark and only had two lights, chairs seems a bit dated. The EV car charger onsite ws an slow charger, had to drive to a Tesla supercharger which took over 20 minutes each way.
Great location , staff very helpful
Clean and tidy
Lovely clean hotel. Easily accessed parking up was easy
We were on the front of the property there was a quite a bit of road noise that kept waking us up
The location and staff were great.
Unsavoury characters, my door to an adjoining room was unlocked, sand in my bed.
Block booking for 14 of us and all very smooth. Excellent location for walking into town.
Staff were always polite and helpful and rooms were spacious and clean.
The location was excellent. Room was clean and comfortable.
The gym was tired and there was no water or towels available when I used it.
Overall, our stay was average. The hotel's location was excellent and definitely its biggest advantage, making it easy to get around and enjoy the area.
Unfortunately, the service and communication let the experience down. We had booked and paid for a twin room with two separate beds. When we checked in, we discovered there was no power in the room. We reported this to reception and were told someone would come to fix it as soon as possible. After waiting for several hours with no update and no one arriving, we had to go back to reception ourselves. We were again told someone would come, but later received a call saying we would need to change rooms because the issue couldn't be resolved.
The disappointing part was that there were no twin rooms available, so we were moved into a small double room instead, which was not what we had booked or paid for. We were also not offered any compensation or goodwill gesture for this inconvenience.
Communication throughout our stay was poor. The reception staff seemed to change constantly, and each time we had to explain our situation from the beginning. We requested an extra duvet, but had to ask three separate times before it was finally brought to our room. We also asked for a bucket of ice, but were simply told they didn't have one available.
Overall, while the location was great, the lack of communication, poor customer service, and failure to provide the room we had booked made the stay disappointing. With better organisation and more proactive customer care, the experience could have been much better.
It was pretty central for us.
No air conditioning, there was a fan in the room but far too small for the room size… we left the window open but had to close it again due to noise from the small courtyard below. Which I believe was supposed to close at 10pm.
The beds were clean & comfy but dust around the TV area & on the Lamp Base ( beside the tv was bad) In the bathroom around the sink area hadn’t been cleaned so I went & bought a pot of Bathroom Cleaner wipes & cleaned it myself!!
You have to let reception know the night before if you’d like your room made up, we were only there for 2 nights so we’re not concerned about that, thought someone could at least topped up the tea & coffee though!
The price, I couldn't question the value.
The hotel felt a bit grubby. There were trolleys of laundry outside the lift shaft and in the corridor pretty much most days. I was there, and it just looked untidy. There was water pouring out over the entrance way that smelt really bad. Overall, my impression was not a great one, and I don't think I'll be returning.
The fact there
The fact there was raw sewage falling from the front of the hotel above the door you walked into the hotel wasn't good at all. It wasn't resolved the day I checked out either. The staff were professional, friendly and helpful.
