The staff we’re lovely and a very convenient location, reception and bar area was lovely
We were originally given a room which was not matching the description of the room we had booked, it had dirty marks, missing the fridge which we had booked specifically for. Stains all over the Carpet walls and bed
Close to where we needed to be- we were visiting Newcastle for the mamma Mia musical at the theatre royal
The noise from the neighbouring bars/clubs was unbearable and continued until 5am.! We had no sleep at all, at 6am we decided to get showered and find somewhere for a coffee and breakfast - no hot water, staff on check out at 6.20am were the most unhelpful and miserable staff
Good location, clean. Good price. Would recommend
Stayed here before first time visiting the bar here.
Leisure facilities are amazing and for an extra 5 pounds per person well worth it.
Was a little noisey by the sound of trains
Clean but hotel needs updating as its a bit run down in certain areas.
The sink in our room had a few cracks in it
I specifically asked if the spa was working, paid 10 pounds to access it and then I got in and discovered it hadn’t been working for a number of days
Location and staff always friendly
Been stopping there for years and don’t like the change in showing ID and putting a credit card with £100 pending on it.
It was central, rooms were spacious.
That you had to pay extra for the swimming pool etc. Should have been included
Where it was
Nothing
The pool facilities.
You had to pay additional for the facilities.
Kettle, fridge. Tea/coffee in room. Large bathroom, good shower. Excellent breakfast. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Fantastic location near station. Good value for money.
Have stayed here before without any complaints. This time was up in the attic on the 4th + floor. My room was cold. The bathroom towel rail was warm. The electric heater right next to the bed looked unsafe to put on. Also the duvet was the thinnest one I have ever seen. This was February. Freezing temperatures outside. Nobody asked if I had any issues during my stay.
