Perfectly located property right in the city centre and the train station car park is right behind the hotel. (£8 a day!)

All staff were extremely helpful, warm, and welcoming. Josh checked us in and ensured we knew all the relevant information about the hotel. Breakfast was lovely and good value for money.

Great location, easy parking. Imposing splendid building in the heart of Newcastle. Nice looking interior feature and a wide range of facilities. Good value for money with breakfast included. Friendly staff helpful and polite.
The shower, very hard to regulate the temperature. Very cold to start with and boiling after and impossible to find a right medium.

No Hot water. When we checked in I’ve found an underwear behind the radiator.

Stayed for two nights, on first there was no heating, and on second no hot water from early evening right through to when I had to check out. Staff unable to offer any kind of compensation at the time, had to fill in a form and was then offered via email a free one night stay within 12 months - requested actual refund instead and have had zero response after a week. Generally interior is a bit old and tired, cracked sink, toilet etc, fairly clean in most areas. No sockets near the bed.

The room we were given was disgustingly filthy we complained and got moved to another room which was better but not up to standard .
Loved the history of the building and decor, we also loved the breakfast and the staff were lovely
The room was far too hot, but the staff did provide a fan, the room was a little shabby, but i did see a lot of work going on!
