Employees could have been a bit more friendly
Absolutely everything. The hotel is beautiful, the grounds superb and the staff wonderful. Staff are friendly, courteous, professional and happy. The place has a lovely feel and the food is great with a superb selection of wine. We had a lovely few days and I would 110% recommend this hotel. The beds are amazing and being a bit techy... my garmin gave me an excellent sleep rating which I have never had!!
Nothing - it was great and dont have anything negative
Beautiful setting amazing architecture. Room was comfortable quite a good size clean and had a good fridge with a proper fresh milk supply. Beds were super comfy and linen was lovely. Breakfast room was beautiful and staff were efficient. Beautiful paintings on the walls and lovely views of the grounds. Room service was very quick and the food was excellent and high quality. We ordered a shared platter that could have fed4 rather than two. The veg were very fresh and everything was delicious.
Bit disappointed room was not in main part of hotel but outside across a little yard in I think some kind of old stable block /annexe or something like but only a short walk.
The building's exterior and grounds are beautiful, the approach up a tree lined drive is wonderful.
We telephoned ahead to enquire about spa treatments and were told to book later. When we arrived we were told that no spa staff were on duty and that spa treatments would not be available hence we were disappointed. The interior of the hotel is looking rather tired. There was no complementary water in the room.
Pretty
There wasn’t enough staff and old TVs
Room wasn’t serviced until 6pm despite us being out for a large chunk of the day. Every time we wanted something we had to hunt a staff member down to get it. We were sat at the table for dinner for more than half an hour before being served a drink. Other than Alex, staff were not helpful and had a remarkable habit of disappearing. When we politely mentioned that things weren’t going very well they did not appear to care. Horrible smell of drains outside our room. We paid for a room “with a feature” the feature appeared to be the glass recycling bin outside the window that was filled quite early each morning.
Beautiful building which has retained its country house character. The service was excellent throughout our stay. I have limited mobility, and the staff looked after us wonderfully. The grounds are stunning with beautiful trees and even a herd of deer. Would definitely stay again.
The beds were a bit hard for our liking., and we found the pillows a bit hard and lumpy.
House of keeping left a bit to be desired.
Crumbs were on the floor of the breakfast room for the duration of our 4 day stay. Also the sink taps in the room need a bit of a spruce up and a ring of scum around the sink drain.
The area was nice grounds
Building pretty
The staff where clueless
I was given a disability room which I didn’t ask for I just booked a classic room. No bath just walk in shower.
No timings when breakfast was or when the spa was open till
Beautiful building, clean and welcoming.
Hotel is in a beautiful location with clean and tidy grounds to walk around.
The hotel needs more staff to provide a seamless service.
Waiting time for food was very slow.
Beautiful building & surroundings, lovely room, very clean throughout, dinner service was great & good food.
Concierge should also get a mention for being so friendly & helpful.
Breakfast service on day one was a shambles but this seemed to be rectified on day two.
Not enough sunbeds to people at the pool.
Shower in bathroom could be better.
A very pleasant stay with exceptional staff and facilities. A very comfortable, spacious room.
Ettington Park is a fascinating building, nicely located and very pleasing.
A beautiful luxurious historic hotel with friendly staff
The breakfast seemed to take a long time one morning, which seemed to be due to a lack of staff, although to be fair, staff from elsewhere were drafted in to lend a hand.
