We thoroughly enjoyed our stay it at Ettington. It's an amazing site and the building and grounds are great. Food was good if not amazing, the rooms were nice, if not a little standard, the pool facilities were good too. It was a lovely couple of days and the staff were very friendly and helpful
There was nothing I didnt like but it wasnt amazing just good all round which is a good thing
Very nice property set in an amazing location. Went from Thur-Sat and the room rates were good value. Can get very popular on weekends with weddings.
Rooms are slightly dated but still comfortable and well maintained
Beautiful grounds and staff were very friendly. Nice breakfast too.
The property itself was quite dirty. Rooms were clean however the general areas such as the pool area and steam/sauna were quite dirty.
Location , friendly and helpful staff , scenery peace and quiet , spa and swimming pool 🏊♂️ The trees and history were magnificent and interesting
Liked everything about the place
Wat een prachtige locatie, midden in het groen. Het straalt rust uit (voor wie daarvan houdt). er is een lekker terras en fijne eetzaal. De kamers zijn ruim en fijn.
Excellent service and friendly people
Very clean and modern facilities in a very old building with lots of charm
The restaurant was excellent, food, choices. Special complement to the staff : friendly, knowledgeable, service was superb 👏 👌
Spiderwebs on windows inside dnd out of the room and moss on the glass roof of the swimming pool
The Hotel was located in a beautiful setting. Quiet, peaceful.
The Staff were very welcoming especially Damion.
Would recommend a stay here. The Room was clean, and comfortable .
The cleanliness everywhere was great. Nothing was too much trouble.
Excellent
The place was absolutely stunning, but the people make the place. The service was absolutely top notch.
We didnt have enough time to use the spa!
Great hotel
Even greater after the refurbishment which we discovered - late indeed - this weekend
We'll be back
Absolutely amazing! The staff couldn’t do any more for us, made us feel very special and at ease. The building & grounds are gorgeous, room was spot on, big comfortable bed with air con & a spacious en-suite.
That we had to leave !
Such a beautiful building. Gorgeous grounds , where there were squirrels & bunnies running around.
We stayed in The Shakespeare feature room. Beautiful bathroom but the furniture & carpets in the room were very tired but not a problem . We had a gorgeous view over the old chapel. Air conditioning was a godsend when it was 36 degrees outside. We spent alot of the afternoons in our room & just chilled, read & enjoyed the beautiful views & the birds flying in & out of the chapel.
The evening lounge & bar menu only had 3 choices on the day we arrived. Not sure if it was because it was Fathers Day. Husband was disappointed as there was no fish or steak. We ended up ordering off the à la carte menu. Would not have been our 1st choice but when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised & thoroughly enjoyed.
Every member of staff was brilliant. Our room was perfect and sitting in the garden, with a local beer, was just perfect.
Historic location
Cleanliness of cutlery
The building and grounds are beautiful and we had a lovely room overlooking the grounds
We had booked it as a spa hotel for a birthday treat and were only told on arrival after trying to book treatments that the spa was closed due to no staff.
We had a very disappointing meal which was very expensive . We fed back the following morning and were told we’d get a call from the manager but we didn’t
