It was nice having the lake and pools available. The location is perfect being so close together Sea Isle where our Matriarch lives. This site offered options for other family groups to rent cottages as so the cousins could spend more time together running around the property enjoying the amenities.
Well we arrived to find none of the 4 bunk beds had sheets on, only piles left in the closet. I’m a senior and. cannot reach across nor climb a ladder to make a bed. While I can appreciate being clear about what items cost to replace, I’d like an inventory of what was supposed to be there. There were no kitchen knives, no cutting board, no drying rack for washed dishes (not even a mat meant to drip dry dishes), 1 dish towel, 5 spoons, 6 forks and a reservation for 5 people gave us 4 bath towels, 3 wash cloths, 1 hand towel and you can’t get clean towels in exchange for your used ones, so yeah id like an inventory list.
Close enough to the beach, had things to do even though we did not use them mostly, nicely tucked in nature
Our cabin was disappointing. It really should come with a fly swatter, because there had to be close to 20 flies when we arrived inside. Spent a lot of time hunting them. 4 of the 5 beds were completely bare, the mattresses and futon were very uncomfortable, there was no door handle from the inside of the main bedroom, which made it challenging to exit, the floors were dirty, various other things were messed up, like the hook that holds the hand towel in the bathroom, which immediately falls off once you dare touch the towel. Not the best
Plenty of pool space
It felt like an old trailer park. Cottage was awful. Dirty cottage. Bugs! Ants were so bad we couldn’t even sit anything on the countertops! Had to put our own sheets on the beds! Staff upon arrival weren’t very welcoming, he was most concerned that there was a thunderstorm on the way. Shower was so small that you bang elbows no matter what you do. Futon mattress looked VERY old also cover on it was stained! Floors were so dirty our socks turned BLACK, literally! The fishing spot was more like a swamp, prolly wasn’t even fish in there! Random trash in park, along road etc! Store was next to worthless! Swimming lake (whole) looked scary! Appeared as though all everyone did was drive golf carts around going nowhere. It says no smoking but a few times there was weed smell from people driving by on the golf carts. A tip envelope on dresser yet the papers given to us on arrival had a list of cleaning they expected guest to do as well as a list of fees for random things if they weren’t done.
It was beautiful and relaxing. The cabin was small, but comfortable, well put together, and clean. Ziggy’s permanent food truck had great options for every meal so there was no stress about going food shopping immediately. We are also able to have Walmart deliver groceries and we just met them at the gate.
The only thing that really disappointed me was that for some reason, I thought paddle boards and kayaks were able to be rented. My kids were really looking forward to it, and we were disappointed that we weren’t able to rent those things to enjoy on the lake.
Very good
Nothing
Location, pool, cottage was spacious Fridge, stove/oven, microwave very nice. Porch was very nice. Beds were comfy
Cottage was very dirt ! Next to nothing in kitchen ware or cooking supplies. Plus dishes and utensils had food on them !!Issue with ants inside !!! We were just bringing our stuff inside. Shower was very small just that you had room to turn around in it.
We liked the lake and how convenient it was. 2 big pools right across from the lake. Renting golf carts to get around was definitely worth it. Thr location was great!
Nothing bad to say
I used to be a seasonal at this campground and wanted to check it out to see what had changed after they raise the rates $3000!
Our stay was absolutely wonderful! This cabin exceeded all of our expectations. It was spotless, cozy, comfortable, and felt like a true home away from home.
The location is perfect for families looking to relax, enjoy nature, and breathe fresh air while still being close to everything. The resort is very well organized, peaceful, and family-friendly. Everyone has their own space, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.
We loved all the amenities available right within the resort, including the swimming pool, the beautiful lake for swimming and relaxing, and the convenience store that has just about everything you might need. The golf cart rentals were also a great addition and made getting around the resort easy and fun.
One of our favorite things was how pet-friendly the resort is. Our dog absolutely loved it! There are plenty of open spaces, walking areas, and pet-friendly spots throughout the resort, making it a wonderful destination for families traveling with their furry friends. In many ways, the dogs enjoy the vacation just as much as the people!
Another huge plus is the location. Wildwood, Cape May, local farms, the zoo, and countless other attractions are only about 15–20 minutes away. There are also gas stations, Wawa, restaurants, and stores nearby, making everything very convenient.
Our family had one of the best vacation experiences here, and we are already looking forward to returning. Everything was clean, comfortable, welcoming, and thoughtfully maintained.
We highly recommend this cabin and resort to anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway with plenty of activities nearby.
100% recommended! We can’t wait to come back.
The best ✨✨✨✨✨
The cottage was comfortable and clean. The facility was well manged and clean
The pool and lake are beautiful. Close to alot of stores and ice cream parlor.
The office closed at 4pm and the convenient store was not open yet. It made it difficult to contact staff when we needed wood and when our TV was not working.
The second cabin was great but there was filth and mold in the AC units.
Did not have good experience with first cabin.. it was a loft and the upstairs loft section was not great.. 3.3-4 for ceiling.. crawl space. We had a problem with the water smelling like awful rotten eggs. They did eventually move us to a new cabin that was adorable but had mold in AC units also.
