It was fine.
Pros:

It was ok. It was just a room. The staff was friendly and referred us to an exceptional restaurant down the road within walking distance. There is plenty of clean water available free in the breakfast room.

Cons:

It doesn’t look very inviting from the outside. No fridge. Doesn’t look as good as the photos.

Pros:

It’s really quiet and has a lovely family feel. It is about 10 mins out of PP but so nice to be out of the city noise. I did a few tours from the hotel and all were happy to pick me up and drop me back… so not too far away. Was able to happily wander around on my own out to the fishing village and the ‘nicer’ hotels 10 minutes walk away. Facilities basic but perfectly adequate. Loved it.

Pros:

Staff was great, we checked in about 12am and they were understanding
Only stayed the one night or techincally morning to rest

Cons:

We had gnats and mosquitos in the room but with the help of air con and the mosquito plug in we brought with us that was taken care of
