It was a long walk from the centre of town. The staff were friendly and helpful, though both parties lacked language skills. Google translate was a godsend.

Excellente Hostal
Pros:

On a tout aimé : la propreté exemplaire de tout l'établissement, la chambre spacieuse, bonne litterie, bien décorée, très fonctionnelle. Douche top. Les espaces extérieurs sont supers, bien decorés, avec plusieurs salons plus un rooftop avec une vue à 360 sur San Pedro et la Cordillère des Andes. Un merci tout particulier à Jocelyne qui se démène du matin au soir pour maintenir et bien accueillir les visiteurs et à Nelby pour les supers petits déjeuners et snacks quand on part en excursion. L'endroit est à 20 minutes à pied du centre (que perso je n'aime pas), plusieurs épiceries et petits restaus chiliens simples et bons autour.

Cons:

De ne pas avoir pu rester plus longtemps.

Beautiful desert space.
Pros:

The place is run by hardworking family. I was fooled by the name Hostal as its got all the facilities of a beautiful hotel with dedicated kitchen, breakfast, pool space. They care a lot about this place as I always see the staff cleaning around. I hope to be back again one day.

Sauberes ruhiges Hotel.
Pros:

Sehr sauber, gutes Frühstück und ruhig. Viel Platz zum relaxen am Pool. Legen sehr viel Wert auf Sauberkeit und Ruhe. Angestelltes Personal sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Weit vom Zentrum. Besitzer nicht immer sehr hilfsbereit.

Great 1 night stay
Pros:

Stayed 1 night and it worked well. Clean and comfortable. We left early 1 morning to drive to the geysers and they offered a picnic breakfast that was greatly appreciated!

Cons:

Nothing! But please note they don’t speak English so google translate is needed or equivalent apps if you have questions and don’t English. We found this a lot in Atacama so not a negative but something to note
