Nice place. Family business, not too big, really helpful staff, they arrange transportation to huang shan entrance free of charge, can help with tickets too. Nice breakfast starting from 5:30 so you can climb early (convenient in summer). Children loved the stones in the shower floor, especially after a long day hiking in the mountains !

The owner was extremely nice. She is very helpful, speaks English and she takes good care of the guests
The shower and toilet are open in the room. The shower made jt too humid everywhere which made it very uncomfortable and smelly.
The owners at Cloudy Warm Hotel were extremely helpful and friendly, and went above and beyond with their level of service.
We planned on visiting the Huangshan mountains and they had kindly offered to drive us up to the shuttle bus station, after a delicious homemade breakfast!
The room was very spacious with comfortable beds and a very cosy duvet! The location of the hotel was just what we needed and even had a stroll through the local town for some evening meals.
We would highly recommend Cloudy Warm hotel, and both Mr & Mrs Yan. This is a lovely hotel and couldn’t have asked for anymore!
Saying “everything” would be too easy, so I’ll try to list only the best:
- kindness and availability of the host and her family (thank you Sunny!!)
- cleanness and space of the room
- homemade breakfast, available also to go
- silence and sleep quality (bed, room temperature etc)
Hotel super suggested if you want to feel home and experience the Huangshan with the right foot!
Nothing in particular. If you want to stay for dinner (suggested) be sure to order the right dish!! Maybe an English menu could be helpful
The accommodation was really great!
We wanted to explore the Huangshan Mountains for 2 days and the accommodation was brilliant. The woman at the accommodation spoke good English and helped us plan the trip to the mountains. She took the trouble to personally drive each guest to the bus station for the mountain tour and then pick them up again. The rooms were very clean and well furnished. The breakfast was good and fueled us for the hike in the mountains later.

Sunny has been an amazing host! She managed everything for us in Huangshan and helped us a lot during our first days in China as non-Chinese speakers - she even booked trains for us anticipating the cost. The hotel is beautiful and we also got some delicious tea her husband produces. Overall, I strongly recommend staying at Cloudy Warm Hotel for the beautiful location, amazing service and kind welcome
I feel very happy to stay in this place, the hotel is quite new and clean, comfy, I also like the location as it sits in a quiet street with only a few steps away the main busy street.
Especially I would recommend the owner family coz they have been very hospitable all through my trip time and I felt really enjoyable about all around of the stay here.
