Luxury in the bush. Beautiful, unrivaled views. Outstanding customer service in every aspect of the stay - Ashleigh (manager), Pam (butler), Kyla (guide) and the entire Outpost team were all phenomenal. The meals were top notch. It’s a 5-star experience that doesn’t feel pretentious or snobby; you can truly relax and just enjoy your time there.
Unfortunately, due to the property’s location in the far north of Kruger/Pafuri region - game sightings are limited. That being said, we were lucky enough to have an incredible leopard sighting on one of our drives. Despite this challenge, the guides go out of their way to make the experience memorable in other ways. The region is better suited to bird sightings, or just being aware that you’re there for the luxury and the overall experience, not necessarily for animal sightings.
Great guide Lloyed which was very knowledgeable and lovely, great view from the room & dining room, quiet location, no mass tourism through 12 rooms max. 24 people, through the remote location you can explore small animals during the game drives where you won`t see much other cars in comparison to South Kruger Park, good meals.
the pool was cold in July, the menu is repetitive if you stay longer then 3 days, waitress asked always after meal was taken if it was good and not shortly after served, if you have noisy neighbors you can hear them in your room during night which we communicated but no action was taken, change of dirty towels, bed mat etc. in the room does not take place automatically, same for fill up of stuff in the rooms fridge, room door was clapping during whole night
The assistant chef was on duty and her food is divine. Every meal was incredible. The game drives though they didn’t provide the big 5 were slow and relaxing with stunning views
The rooms don’t have glass covering which means if there’s a terrible thunderstorm you get to experience all of mother nature’s performance. But the blind coverings were still sufficient although they didn’t block out all the noise from the storm

Locatie is prachtig, vriendelijk personeel die alles voor je wil doen. Mijn vriend viel en na EHBO is twee man meegegaan naar ziekenhuis wat hele nacht duurde. Dag erna zijn medicijnen gehaald in stad 100km verderop. Er wordt echt alles gedaan om naar de zin te maken.
Game drivers waren leuk met veel informatie als je dat leuk vindt.
Eten was prima maar ik had het zelf nog beter verwacht.
Breakfast was absolutely delicious, location was perfect and easy to navigate
Het concept. De all time inclusief formule met game drives, high tea, de warmwaterkruik die net voorbije in de kamer kwam, netjes aan het voeteneinde in het bed is gestopt. De vriendelijkheid en behulpzaamheid van het personeel. Ze pikken heel snel je voorkeuren van drank en eten op en besteden daar extra aandacht aan.
De ranger heeft een zeer grote kennis van fauna en flora.

If you are looking for a raw tour The Outpost is the perfect place to do so. Kayla was our guide for our stay and her knowledge on the area and wildlife was amazing. We were also fortunate enough to do a bush walk with a very experienced guide named Mark who share his knowledge on flora and birds in the area. Winnie was the staff member who organised our meals and drinks and her attention to detail was great!

Guiding was pretty pedestrian and the guide was completely disinterested. The much touted sound safari was a waste of time.
Everything at The Outpost is exceptional ! Its location, breathtaking views, high quality food and services, but most importantly the kindness and professionalism of all the staff and guides. It is a unique and magical experience ! Thank you so much to all the team!
