Pros:

Nice staff, big and clean rooms, and very clean.

Tpossibility of freshly made Thai style breakfasts was very good. The standard bread and jelly choice was dull.

Cons:

The main A/C-unit (or what's it called) was on the balcony, which was very noisy. In the current heat it wasn't an option to leave it off - not even at night, so it was not easy to sleep well.

The coffee at breakfast - awful.

Pros:

The value for the price is one of the best in Ayutthaya from the hotels from medium range prices. The price is great, the 7-11 is 1min away, the staff is very kind and friendly, room is so clean, balcony, comfortable bed, the hotel is away from the road so u won't hear any noise. Location it's depends on the own needs. Around 15-20min from minivan station, 15min walk to daily market and around 30-40min for the night market. 30min walk to train station. In my opinion better waste few minutes to travel out/in to hotel but having clean, safe and comfortable night.

Cons:

I don't know if every room is the same but there was missing power sockets near the bed from each side. But it's acceptable.

Nice hotel but old city disappointing
Pros:

The hotel is one of only a few hotels actually in the old city. Ten to fifteen minute walk to historical park and ruins. Hotel room has all the usual amenities but the balcony ( if one could call it that ) was minute. Although staff not used to dealing with westerners they were very friendly and helpful even offering to lend us their own umbrellas. Breakfast was ok.

Cons:

Not a fault of the hotel but most of the old city has wide straight roads which as a pedestrian are difficult to cross especially at peak times. Pedestrian crossings mean nothing to Thai drivers. We got the impression that most western tourists visit Ayuttaya as a day trip.
