Pros:

Bellissimo hotel, con tanti comfort, camera spaziosa e ben pulita, con un ottimo arredo, molto accogliente. Colazione abbondante e con materie prime ottime. Il personale molto gentile.
Ci vorremmo tornare presto.

Disappointing - mediocre service and hotel guests confined to second-class dining area
Pros:

Bedrooms are pretty nice and location is good for reaching local walks and sights

Cons:

Mainly the fact that hotel guests were usually confined to a second-rate space for meals (breakfast and dinner), as the amazing bar/dining room shown in the photos was reserved as a separate restaurant for most of our stay. This made very little sense, as there were rarely more than a couple of diners in the restaurant each evening (and zero for breakfast), whereas the hotel guests were all crammed together in a room without many windows or views. Although we worked it out after a couple days, my wife and I weren’t even told about the (high-priced) taster menu option in the main restaurant - despite asking about other dining options.

With a couple of exceptions, the staff were generally rather sullen and unhelpful, eg. not bothering to show us how our private sauna worked and only explaining the controls after we raised the fact that it didn’t seem to be working.

All in all, it was a very disappointing experience - especially when compared to other hotels we visited on our roadtrip, which were much more friendly, with better food and a far more welcoming approach.

Pros:

Everything and everybody was great!

Cons:

Breakfast a little slow. Would have liked to serve ourself on certain items and request other options choices that are cooked. Otherwise everything great.

Diddly like the noise until 11 at night by the tennis , soccer field next door.
