Hotel Portoconte

Very clean, peacefull and well maintained hotel. Nice and good for kids sandy beach, available for snorkeling as water is very clean. Beach is just a few steps from the room. Staff is very welcomming and pleasant. A lot of spaces for car parking. Would like to return some day!

My heart stays at this lovely place and I'm strongly surprised with the negative comments written here. This hotel deserves at least 4 stars based on modern facilities, extremely cleanliness, spacious and elegant rooms, perfect bathroom and delicious dinner with choice between 4 starters and main courses. The hotel complex is full of greenery, palms and trees as you feel on the paradise island. The beach is more than perfect with white sand, crystal water as well as beautiful white water. The location is more than perfect - you can reach the city center of Alghero or Alghero airport with bus stop located in front of the hotel. The hotel staff is nice and helpful. Thank you for the pleasant stay and we will definitely come back in the near future!

Pár percre volt a tengerparti fürdőhely,ami nagyon kényelmes volt.A tengervíz kristálytiszta volt és lágy.Avacsora ételek finomak voltak és változatosak.

Location and pool

Mezi hlavní přednosti hotelu patří upravovaná a udržovaná pláž. V době našeho pobytu (v červnu) byla lehátka i slunečníky k dispozici zdarma a to v dostatečném množství.

Hotel nabízí dostatek parkovacích míst, takže ani při vyšší obsazenosti nebyl problém zaparkovat.

Velmi pozitivně hodnotíme každodenní úklid pokojů. Čistota byla po celou dobu pobytu na vysoké úrovni a ručníky byly pravidelně měněny.

The staff were excellent, especially the reception staff who go above and beyond to help. The cleaners do a superb job of keeping this hotel beautifully clean. Dinner staff were helpful.

We loved the location, it's quieter than main Alghero which we liked. The pool area and beach were fabulous, a real hi-light. Both were lovely and clean with plenty of parasols. The beach is stunning, sand beach, shallow entry, crystal blue water and even some fabulous fish if you like a snorkle. The Bar area was also lovely, overlooking the bay and staff also good.

Room was decent, a fair size. A lovely big bed (a little firm for us and no toppers). Sofa, balcony. Lovely big shower with great water pressure. Athough the big door to the bathroom did take up a bit of space.

Lovely big flat screen Smart TV with netflix, perfect position (though wifi sometimes made it difficult to watch).

Lovely breakfast, loads of choice! Dinner options on all inclusive were pretty good too, though we were disappointed natural water was not included and cost 3euro a bottle.

We thought it was excellent that smoking was prohibited throughout the shared outdoor spaces except in the designated areas. More hotels should do this! For this reason, the great staff and the lovely outdoor space we would definitely return.

The hotel has all the comfort great swimming pool and a nice quiet beach. Very good breakfast and a lovely staff.

Un ringraziamento speciale va a tutto lo staff: dai fantastici ragazzi del bar al team del ristorante, dal mitico King della spiaggia al team dell'animazione, dalle signore delle pulizie alla gentilissima signora della boutique, tutti sempre sorridenti, disponibili e professionali. Per il resto, il cibo è stato ottimo e il mare, come sempre, è semplicemente meraviglioso!
