It was a lovely location and pretty gardens.
A little dated
Perfect location. Friendly, helpful staff
Bar closed at 2pm despite having a full bear garden. Definite loss of profit for hotel
Everything! The staff was top notch. Kind, friendly, helpful, fun. The facility was lovely as well as the grounds.
Charming hotel with an excellent dining room (great wines). Cozy fireside lounge and pub!
Charming with the area. Loved it.
No fridge in room.
Fabulous location, friendly staff
Breakfast good but limited outing
Very good food. Lovely garden & Lounge area. Excellent location in centre of Stow
Room was comfortable, but room could do with updating
Great location
Noisy room above us
It is rare to have a hotel with such attention to detail. The room was really clean, comfortable and supplied with everything we could possibly need.
The menu was changed daily and the food which was freshly cooked was very tasty.
The staff could not have been more helpful, they were approachable, friendly, and attentive to each guests’ needs. It was obvious that there were several guests who returned regularly.
Nothing.
The breadfast was good ,staff friendly.
Sunday lunch in the restaurant, not much atmosphere, full of very quiet people. And overlooking the car park. The bar would have been better.
The whole place is very dated and needs a makeover. Lots of brown varnish and old carpet.
The roast lunch was very basic. Bland lamb, we were not asked how we liked it, I would have said crisp on the outside and pink towards the middle. It came like pressed composite. One roast potato, one scoop of mash with peas and carrots. Very like a school dinner from the 1970s.
The staff were friendly.
Happy with everything
Happy with everything
Great location and grounds
Very dated
Everything was perfect.
All first class except see below comment
Hot/ warm water in bathroom almost non existent. Room 7.
The hotel and grounds were beautiful.the staff were so friendly and happy.Even gave my husband a birthday card,as that is why we were there. The coach house room was lovely, with tea and coffee facilities. Although our room was by the main road, didn't hear the traffic at night. The cleanliness of the hotel was very good.Would highly recommend a stay here.
There was nothing we didn't like
