Victoria House made a great base for our trip to the Cotswolds. We had a wonderful time exploring Stow and the surroundi

Bed very comfortable.
Good tea/coffee facilities.

Cons:

Bathroom ceiling too low for anyone 6ft or more.
Room very small in roof or property so very hot with just a small desk fan.

Poor experience at a fabulous destination
Pros:

Location was excellent for easy access to the centre of Stow.

Cons:

It was a very hot weekend & the fan in the room was a computer fan that was 6 inches in diameter & provided no respite against the heat in the top floor room.
The shower connection over the bath was only hand held & the taps were under an eaves so by the time they reached the other end of the bath were suitable only for hair washing.
The bath had an infestation of wood lice so was unusable.
We left early morning after the first night feeling very disappointed.

We had a lovely stay in Stow better facilities would have been very welcome
Pros:

Great location room looked lovely on first impression

Cons:

The shower head needed descaling- the towels were frayed and very hard - new ones are definitely required
Not z very good selection of coffee only enough for 1 cup each of coffee & staying 2 nights also very minimal cookies again 2 packets containing 2 cookies is all supplied as goodies a little disappointing considering the price

Für 180€ die Nacht , definitiv zu teuer.
Pros:

Das Zimmer war gemütlich, die Lage direkt im Zentrum . Sehr gute Restaurants im Umfeld , sehr hübsche kleine Stadt.

Cons:

Es war extrem laut, da der gesamte Verkehr direkt unter unserem Fenster vorbei fuhr. Das Fenster musste man zu lassen. Das Bad war ohne Dusche und die Badewanne im Zimmer. Sah nett aus aber nicht praktikabel . Es gab keinen Duschschlauch. Kein Personal , man bekam einen Code fürs Haus und Zimmer .

Pros:

Nos sorprendió que pensábamos q era un hotel y finalmente es una buena casa con habitaciones, cada una con su clave, donde uno entra y no ve ni habla con nadie. Nuestra habitación amplia, luminosa, impecable, la cama muy cómoda y sábanas de buena calidad igual q las toallas. . Te dejan por escrito toda la información necesaria. Además de café, té , galletas y una botellita con un delicioso licor de cherry con sus copitas, detalles q se agradecen ya que nos hizo aun más acogedora la estadía.

Cons:

Nuestra habitación un poco ruidosa ya q daba a la calle principal del pueblo y antes de las 6 am se sentía pasar camiones.
Las áreas comunes de la casa (entrada y escalera) se ve menos impecable que la habitación, las alfombras están manchadas.

The location was great plenty of nice shops pubs/ Bars/ cafes .and a good bus service if you fancy getting around.

Parking is very limited and could be costly if you've got to park in one of the local pay and display car parks.

It was okay but I expected more
Pros:

The location is great, the bed is comfortable.

Cons:

There was no shower only bath tub without shower so it was a bit complicated to take a quick shower. There is no air conditioning and there was a heatwave when we stayed and the two fans were not enough. The room was very very hot. We were in the first floor so it was only 1 floor to go up the stairs but I wouldn’t like to be on upper floors without stairs specially when carrying the luggage.
