Overall I had a pleasant stay here
Pros:

This property is in a residential area and a walking distance from nearby stations (around 10 minutes), convenience stores, and the famous Nijo Castle. The facilities are quite complete and the bedroom is pretty spacious for 3 people with many luggage. Many thanks to the hotel staff for letting me to check in earlier and helped me in printing last minute documents. The hotel was clean.

Cons:

Unfortunately, this hotel did not provide an ironing tool and lack of storage compartment in the bathroom side, making it difficult for me to hang my clothes and towels. The cleanliness could be improved since there are some areas that needed more cleaning.

Pros:

The room was big and the location was great, we loved the neighbourhood and all the nearby cafes and restaurants.

Cons:

The bath drain was smelling and we had to keep it shut. Also the corridors of the hotel don't smell good and could be improved. Seems like they run with the bare minimum of staff.

Spazi ampi e atmosfera tranquilla nel cuore di Kyoto
Pros:

Ho soggiornato presso l’HIZ HOTEL Kyoto-Nijo Castle dal 1 maggio al 2 maggio e l’esperienza è stata complessivamente molto positiva. La suite è estremamente spaziosa, ben organizzata e arredata con grande cura nei dettagli. Gli ambienti risultano confortevoli, funzionali e molto piacevoli anche per soggiorni più lunghi. La posizione è ottima per chi cerca tranquillità: la zona è molto silenziosa e rilassante, pur trovandosi a circa 500 metri dalla fermata dell’autobus, quindi ben collegata ai principali punti di interesse della città. Nel complesso consiglio sicuramente questa struttura per la qualità della suite, la tranquillità della location e il buon rapporto qualità-prezzo.

Cons:

Unico piccolo aspetto migliorabile riguarda la pulizia di alcune aree meno visibili, in particolare le mensole e gli angoli sotto il letto, dove era presente un eccessivo accumulo di polvere.

Ho soggiornato presso l’HIZ HOTEL Kyoto-Nijo Castle dal 22 aprile al 1° maggio e l’esperienza è stata molto positiva. La suite è estremamente spaziosa, ben organizzata e arredata con grande cura nei dettagli, rendendo il soggiorno molto confortevole anche per periodi più lunghi. La location è tranquilla, ideale per rilassarsi dopo una giornata in città, e molto comoda grazie alla fermata dell’autobus situata a circa 500 metri.

Cons:

L’unico aspetto che potrebbe essere migliorato riguarda la pulizia di alcune zone meno visibili, come le mensole e gli angoli sotto il letto, dove era presente un eccessivo accumulo di polvere. Per il resto, struttura consigliata per comfort, tranquillità e posizione.

Clean, it makes a nice stay for 2 people. Easy access, possibility to leave the luggage before checking in and after checking out.

Cons:

The rooms are clearly not suited to accomodate 4 adults. It was barely space to pass through and there was no room at all for any luggage.

Pros:

Great value for money in a quiet area of Kyoto. Easy to walk to public transport or more lively areas for food. Self check-in was easy and if you come by car there are loads of car parks around the area which was great.

Cons:

Floors are thin so you can hear the steps of those on the floor above.

Wasn’t good, had to cut it short due to the bad smell.

Cons:

There was overwhelming smell of previous tenants cooking, it was very bad in my unit. I ended ip staying only one night instead of 4 due to this.
