I stayed here several times n had a gteat stay. Budget friendly, located in middle of Macleodganj, conveniently located near main square, Dalai Rama Temple, many restaurant and shops. The owner is so kind. He gave me a lot of information i need and made me feel comfortable. There is a spacious restaurant and cafe on the rooftop, so you can enjoy a meal with a great mountain view without having to go far.
Nothing to be liked in this hotel, I do not recommend anyone to choose this hotel
Everything, starting the reception, ending the room. Reception was not professional, the room was very smelly, bed sheets were dirty and filthy, the room had very negative vibe. At night you can hear all the noises in the street, especially dogs are very loud and non-stop throughout the night. I could not sleep the whole night.
The manager is very nice, he helped me every time I needed something, and gave me advices to visit around.
The room and bathroom are good.
It's not really cold in March, and you can ask for extra blanket.
I was even able to take a shower before my night bus.
Some problems with water when I was there, I think there is something to fix for good. But when the problem occur I tell to reception and it works 5mn after so wasn't really a problem.
Only the manager speaks English, very hard to communicate with the rest of the staff.
They ask prepayment to finalize the booking, which I refused.
Very nice place in McLeod Ganj. The owner was very nice, he upgraded us for free just because he had rooms. The room was great, spacious and very comfortable. Amenities worked well. We had a nice little view too from the window, but it could be admired better from the rooftop. Their restaurant was closed at this time of the year, the menu looked nice though, good price too.
Hotel is located at very nice place.
Room service was not so good. No breakfast option was there.
The location was close to the main market of Mcleordganj which was convenient for us as we chose walking. In case you have a vehicle or a scooty, I suggest you to take a hotel a bit away from the main market since it would be more peaceful and you can fully enjoy the mountain view and serenity.
Breakfast was not provided. The room size was kind of small in size. In the initial two days the hot water was not coming properly and the flush took time to refill. No proper amenities were provided like soap, hand towel, lotion, heater etc. The staff was kind of rude as well, they too 1 hour for check in. In case you booked online the hotel staff does not deal with it directly, an external vendor deals with you. They charged us Rs 1,400 more than what was showed while booking. Overall, experience was below average.
Hospitality
Clean rooms
Breakfast service
Clean and calm
Dog braking
The location is good for tourists because it's in between the temple and the market.
The toilet doesn't work, the sheets are dirty and the staff is unfriendly and doesn't know English. Even if we told the staff about the time of our check out (8 am) we needed to wait together with our taxi driver half an hour until someone was coming. We booked breakfast but everything from the menu is not available except toast with butter. And we needed to pay extra to get tea. (Even if there are multiple teas on the menu, only Milk tea and Butter tea are available.)
Good location about 5-10 minute walk to Dalia Lama Temple and Skyway Gondola to Dharamshala.
Nice roof terrace with great views.
No was basic but good.
