The worst five-star experience of my life

Cons:

Honestly, I cannot understand how this hotel can claim to be five-star. During my stay, it was practically impossible to rest. There was constant noise throughout the entire night — clattering and disturbing sounds coming from somewhere I couldn’t even identify. It may have been the ventilation system, street noise, or neighboring rooms, but the soundproofing is virtually non-existent. Street noise and sounds from adjacent rooms are clearly audible.

The bathroom design is particularly problematic and even unsafe. Water from the shower flows freely across the entire bathroom floor, with no proper barrier to contain it. After showering, the floor becomes extremely slippery and potentially dangerous.

The building and furnishings feel very worn and outdated. The hotel overall appears old and poorly maintained.

The only positive aspect I can mention is the kitchen — the food quality was good.

Overall, this was a huge disappointment. In terms of both value for money and overall standard, it does not meet five-star expectations at all.

Very comfortable, staff were helpful, rooms were clean and clean regularly. Food was great. Could not ask for more.
Pros:

Easy access from the airport , staff were friendly and accommodating, helpful. Food was great and had a mixture of tasty food. The Dosa chef was great and he was very popular. Service was great.

Cons:

The outside pavement was damaged but was not fixed and one of the clients fell over and hurt herself. We did report it . Wifi was not working sometimes and had to go down to get a new wifi number.

Looks to be a luxury but it will disappoint you
Pros:

The room was overall nice and clean, liked the rain shower, room service.

Cons:

I have had a few issues with the hotel:

1) the room card stopped working almost every day, I had to ask reception to fix it
2) in the room the power sockets near bed didn't work
3) TV was not working, there was an issue with remotes which was fixed quickly when I asked
4) the bathroom sink was clogged, I asked to fix it 2 times, but it was not fixed

I chose Madin after lot of online search and I am glad my decision was perfect one.
Pros:

All the staff, especially the restaurant staff, were singularly courteous. The food was excellent - good spread, tasty and wholesome. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.

Cons:

I did not find anything amiss or needing attention.
