T Square Hakuba

早餐很豐盛，公共空間很大

We thought that the location was perfect. Views up the slopes from our room and very close to the lifts and the Gondola. The best thing was that we were close to excellent restaurants and the convivence store.
The owner and his family and staff made us feel so welcome. The vibe was like a ski lodge of my childhood. We stayed in the refurbished rooms which were fantastic and I understand that more will be upgraded over the summer.

Had such an amazing stay at T-Square in Hakuba — couldn’t recommend it more.

From the moment we arrived, everything just felt easy. The place has that perfect balance of being super comfortable while still feeling like a proper ski lodge experience. You can tell a lot of care has gone into creating the vibe — it’s relaxed, social, and works just as well for families as it does for groups of mates.

The location is ideal if you’re there to ski. Getting to and from the slopes was simple, and after a long day on the mountain, it was the perfect place to come back to — warm, cosy, and a great atmosphere to unwind in.

The pizza was a standout as well — exactly what you want after skiing all day. Proper comfort food done right.

The whole place also has a really welcoming, family-friendly feel. Chester was a big part of that — super warm, accommodating, and made everyone feel right at home… although he may have gotten a little frisky on the wines at times, which only added to the fun.

Overall, T-Square is one of those places that just nails everything — great location, great food, and an even better atmosphere. Would 100% stay again next time we’re in Hakuba.

T Square is a fantastic place for a ski holiday. I stayed 2 years ago at Christmas and in Match this year. There have been some renovations so the public areas are really good for a hotel like T Square. They have a 25 metre living room on the main street. Stylish and super comfy.

The orher thing to note is Tsugaike Kogan is a fast improving resort. There are 10-12 really good characterful Japanese run restaurants in town. So much better than the overpriced mix back in Happo/ Echoland.
( try Yamigami - two of the biggest friendliest dogs wander around the restaurant and the Mama san will join you for a song in the Kareoke living room!!)

Brekky excellent at T Square and staff generous in driving you around ,( eg to the supermarket) .
The hotel is 200m fron the gondola and a 100metres from the beginner runs which are easy to access.

I skiied late March which is a great choice if you like sunny weather and still plenty of snow.

there are many common hand wash basin on 2nd floor. there is a common bath. they recently added a private shower room inside the bath area.
washing machine and dryer , clean enough to use .
need to walk a bit to chairlift and gondola . not too far. hot breakfast which is included is good .
beds are comfy.

The location was excellent right next to Tsugaike base area. The staff were great and very accomodating to our group at the end of the season. The facilities were amazing - clean, tidy and the rooms were perfect all for an affordable price.

Par où commencer? La gentillesse du personnel (merci Mohi, Emma et Matt), le charme de cet hôtel typiquement japonais modernisé, le petit-déjeuner pantagruélique, l'énergie de Matt le propriétaire australien, la chaleur du salon, la propreté des lieux, le confort du onsen privé, le ski-room chauffé...
Je suis resté plus longtemps que prévu et j'y retournerai un jour.

Owners and staff were really friendly and knew the surrounding resorts well. Breakfast service was great. Location was excellent, right by Tsugaike and also right by the Hakuba Valley shuttle stop.

Reasonable breakfast, good communal lounge area (2), decent onsen for post slopes soak, friendly international (most Australian) staff. Good size rooms for Japan. Free electric massage chair was a nice touch. It's a comfortable stay and a ten minute walk to the lifts and gondola. Plenty nearby moderately priced eateries.
