Par où commencer? La gentillesse du personnel (merci Mohi, Emma et Matt), le charme de cet hôtel typiquement japonais modernisé, le petit-déjeuner pantagruélique, l'énergie de Matt le propriétaire australien, la chaleur du salon, la propreté des lieux, le confort du onsen privé, le ski-room chauffé...
Je suis resté plus longtemps que prévu et j'y retournerai un jour.

Pros:

Owners and staff were really friendly and knew the surrounding resorts well. Breakfast service was great. Location was excellent, right by Tsugaike and also right by the Hakuba Valley shuttle stop.

Comfortable stay close to slopes in a friendly laid back hotel with communal areas.
Pros:

Reasonable breakfast, good communal lounge area (2), decent onsen for post slopes soak, friendly international (most Australian) staff. Good size rooms for Japan. Free electric massage chair was a nice touch. It's a comfortable stay and a ten minute walk to the lifts and gondola. Plenty nearby moderately priced eateries.

Cons:

The drying room is pretty rough but that's a minor thing. This hotel feels more western than Japanese, that's not a bad thing - just how it is.

Matt and his team at T Square were true hosts.From the next level breakfast to transport drop offs always someone ready to help.The comfy family atmosphere is relaxing but upbeat... just right for the buzzy village that's Tsugaite.So thanks again guys for helping us find the Goldilocks zone in Hakuba... we'll see you again 🥰🙏🙏
