The staff are lovely. One kind lady let our kids feed the koi - the kids loved it.
Great location close to Nishiki market.
Very comfy rooms.

One small quibble - the ventilation system is a bit loud.

Pros:

Excellent location. Room size was OK. Front desk staff helpful.

Cons:

They bring breakfast to your room. Sounds convenient, but isn't really and very little choice as to what you get. For laundry they don't do underwear or socks, we had to walk to the launderette.

We absolutely loved this hotel. It is insanely luxurious for the price! The most spacious room in our entire trip. The staff were also so incredibly helpful. They helped us call a cab multiple times and even met the driver outside to make sure we went to the right place. We were sad to leave!

Cons:

If I had to pick a negative, it would be that the nearest train station was 10 minutes away, but this didn't really cause us a problem.

A very comfortable room, equipped with everything, including a little dining room, massive bathroom, nice touch with the coffee machine and teas available. The staff was very lovely and helpful at all time. The location was very close to the train station, but not necessarily close to the area of interest. Now this depends what you want to see, some of the things we wanted to see were close.

Cons:

Just 2 irons for the whole hotel, which could be improved by having some more.

Best hotel ever!
Pros:

The hotel room was incredibly spacious and relaxing, with an impressive washroom space with the toilet, sink, and bathing areas separated so they could be used individually if needed. The shower was an overhead type which is great for us because my partner is quite tall, he could fit under it comfortably which is a big bonus. The bed was huge and very comfortable and had a sofa nearby to relax on. Two TVs were in our room, one in front of the bed and one in the lounge area which had comfy benches and a table, I also really appreciated the coffee machine included in the room and the tea set! Best hotel I've ever stayed in!
