The location was great. It was very easy to find and accessing the room was easy. Literally right across the street from Utsunomiya Station. We could even see it from our room. We liked that there were so many beds, it was spacious, the rooms were clean, the kitchen was spotless and came with free food such as microwaveable pasta, water, etc (1 per guest). The TV is huge and we could watch Netflix and YouTube. The apartment is on the top floor so noise was never a problem. My favorite part of place was probably the bathroom. It was BIG, AND the tub is a jacuzzi! All amenities, dishes and the such were included so the place actually felt like home.
1. There are so many cameras. The cameras are literally visible at every entrance and exit of the place (on the patio, too).
2. Upon check-in, the host asked me to sign my name on the guest list and email it to him ASAP. Then, everyone else had to fill in their names and addresses on a guest list and take a picture of it and email it to the host as well after they arrived. We forgot to add our phone numbers and the host emailed me back asking us to write that down and email the list back to him again. It wasn’t hard but it was very time consuming, especially since we all arrived at different times and were tired, hungry, etc. I wished we could’ve added each guests name on Booking.com on their website or emailed the form later that night or the following morning. It would’ve been much easier. My guests were very surprised that they have to give up so much information as we all LIVE in Japan and are not tourists. We just felt like we were being watched 24/7 or something. It was weird.
Great location.
All the balcony equipment was stacked away and covered with tarps. Would have required a big effort to set up like the pictures.
