Lively neighborhood, nice hotel
Pros:

Spacious room, nice beds, practical common kitchen. Air condition in the room and hotel provided fresh towels every day. Really close to everything in Insadong. We loved the neighborhood anyway. Staff was extremely polite and helpful.

Cons:

There was a smell on the hotels stairs (coming from surrounding shops I guess) but not all the time. The hotel itself was very clean. There is some noise at night coming from the lively eating places on the street.

Amazing location, lovely staff and super cosy
Pros:

The location was incredible, the staff were lovely and the bed was so comfortable! Great size for one person (two would be a tight squeeze in the room I was in)

Cons:

The towels provided are super small (although perhaps this is common in South Korea, I’m not sure) and the sound insulation to the street is poor, so I highly recommend earplugs. I slept well with them :)

Pros:

The staff was amazing the lady working at the reception made you feel like you were home.
The rooms are very comfortable and very clean everything you need is available.

Cons:

The only problem I encountered was a spinning noise that went on the entire night, probably the laundry room or something from outside but it wasn’t loud enough to disrupt my sleep so unless you are a sensitive sleeper you should be fine and I believe the noise is not a problem in any of the other rooms

Pros:

It is really centrally located, a short two minute walk from the location. Pretty quiet considering how close it is to the busy night life of Insadong. The staff are helpful and friendly on check in.

Cons:

My bathroom had a bad smell. I'm not sure whether it was the drain or a result of dampness to the bathroom but there was an infuser in the room to mask the smell.
The room is very simple, no refrigerator if that's what you need in a room.

Pros:

The dorm room was spacious, and we were pleasantly surprised that it even had a bathtub! The location is very convenient as well, close to bus stops and Ikseondong. David and the lady who checked us in were both super helpful and welcoming. Would definitely come back and stay here again!
