Pros:

L’emplacement était incroyable et très bien centré. Proche des bars et restaurants. Le lieu reste calme malgré la fête aux alentours. Le personnel est très gentil et arrangeant. Il manque juste de prises dans la salle de bain et ça aurait été parfait ! Le ventilateur au dessus de la tête pour dormir est un gros plus !! Il fait très chaud sur l’île la nuit, ça fait du bien d’avoir le ventilateur

Les lits ne sont pas collés au mur et nous voyons la poussière qui traîne entre les lits et les murs

Pros:

The owner was friendly enough. Convenient location.

Cons:

Very, very dirty! Stayed for 3 nights and the bathroom wasn’t cleaned once. Cobwebs everywhere. Bathroom sink broken. Human fluids all over the walls. Nobody swept the floor the entire time. They also need to check who’s paying to sleep in the beds as on my last night a “female acquaintance” accompanied the guy in the bed above mine. Definitely didn’t pay to hear the pleasure of someone getting FINGERED above me.

Fine hostel, good facilities, clean, central location, to much dominating noise at bar + restaurant
Pros:

Fine hostel in Don Det island, central location at mainstreet in the small vilage. Good facilities, clean and well cared for. Good breakfast & dinner servise (not in room/ bed price) and a bar. Good value for money. Except for the negative point in next item.

Cons:

During my stay the bar was much of the day occupied by rather noisy guests, drinking beer and have a jolly but noisy time from late morning or early afternoon. This affected the atmosphere of the hostels public space. From early morning until far in the evening to loud rock music was delivered by loudspeakers around the bar and restaurant space of the hostel. Sitting tthere it could not be ignored or escaped. Everyone can have their taste, but I found it to loud and to much intrusing and dominating the whole atmosphere By only turning down the volume this could be acceptable, but it seemed the usual way in this hostel.

Pros:

I choose it for the position (It's really close to the boat arrival) and for the price, the cheepest of booking.

Cons:

The bungalow was quite damaged from humidity. The bathroom door was broken and also the floor had big holes.

Pros:

The location, although it's a small island so everything is near. But it's near the boat pear.

Cons:

I didn't feel comfortable there, but I had to run away when after a less than 10 min bath with door and windows closed the room was FULL of mosquitoes. That's because there are holes everywhere, it's not well isolated and actually the bathroom has a huge aperture. Not good. There is no mosquito net that could save it.
