I like that I have my private, quiet place to relax. Staff check on everyday. The complimentary lunch was delicious. I’m

Like a postcard.
Pros:

Everything. It’s an amazing place with incredible views and unbelievable staff. Not only did they help me with some date modifications when I got injured and then stuck getting there (they absolutely did not have to do that) but were helpful every day. The place felt like I was walking around the pyramid - but it wasn’t filled with tons of rooms like a mega hotel but just terraces everywhere. My room had windows you could open to the view of Pitons and the sunset, like a postcard. They provided free water and even beer. I walked to the town and there is also a a view just a bit up the hill. If you don’t have the car the bus from Castries passes by and from town you can take the bus to VF. For me everything was ideal.

Cons:

Absolutely nothing.

Beautiful
Pros:

This property has a spetacular view of the Pitons and Soufriere! Its also very quiet and the room was very spacious. The property itself was also beautiful. The picture is a view from our room-it doesnt get any better than that!

Cons:

Not so much the property but Soufriere itself doesnt have much to offer in terms of restaurants-really only 2 or 3.

Disappointing.
Pros:

Beautiful location and view

Cons:

This property is not functioning. It is empty and very run down. At some time it must have been a wonderful place and could be again but it requires a huge input of funds. We had booked two rooms for two nights but the air in only worked in one room so we didn’t take it but did not get charged. There was no contact phone number we could ring if we had any problems. We were the only guests and I think in the only habitable part of the building. The pool was closed which was very disappointing. We left after one night.

Wonderful time
Pros:

I could not be happier with the result of my visit of beautiful Soufrière. La Villa des Pitons absolutely did meet my expectations if not exceeded it, one of very few places where you can actually enjoy amazing view on pitons, Caribbean Sea and the prior capital city in the same time while staying in amazing countryside and hearing all the forest’s wildlife ( no snakes! miles around for those who are wondering - got this information proved by many locals live all their life, no spiders and not even many mosquitoes in villa :)
Thanks of large place and very thoughtful architectural design is villa great for large groups who prefer to be sociable but also for couples who like their privacy. Colourful rooms and outside interiors combined with natural materials constantly reminded me that I was in caribbean country. Loved that amazing views from restaurant, lounge and all patios, fountain, pond with fish. Good pool and jacuzzi. Very quick to get down to the main beach approximately 10 mins by walk, way back up to 20 mins. ;)
The villa was always clean, as well as my large two floors apartment.
Everyone was very helpful, anything I ever needed was provided without any delays or questions. Promptly arranged my trips to countryside is something I was very grateful and amazing / unique places where to go recommended.
I was solo traveller this time and I definitely felt safe and comfortable there during of all my stay.
Beautiful mango tree with large mangos just opposite to the entrance staircase.🥭
Thank You all for providing such a lovely time and also thank you for your professional while friendly attitude.
I had truly a great time. ☀️

Great views, helpful, friendly staff and a curious building
Pros:

The hotel is up a steep hill from the town but this gives incredible views of the Pitons. The room was a good size, had a fridge, glasses, plates and cutlery for basic self catering (no cooking facilities). The staff were welcoming and friendly and couldn't do enough to ensure we had everything we needed or book taxis.

Cons:

This is a palatial hotel that is sadly a shadow of its former glory with most of it going unused. It is a restaurant providing large scale lunches for coach trippers to the area with just a few rooms being used for accommodation. This was not a problem for us and we enjoyed our stay but I don't feel this reality is reflected in the marketing of the property.

Will be back. Really beautiful time.
Pros:

The staff at the Villa were exceptional. I came to St. Lucia very last minute with no prior plans. They went above and beyond to recommend all I should do and see, and plan it according to my preferences. They checked up on me, made me feel at home and showed a hospitality that was truly touching.
The room was very spacious and clean. The balcony provided a stunning view (view from the villa attached). The food at the resturant in town, owned by the hotel owners, was fantastic. The villa was very quiet, I didn't encounter many other guests.

Cons:

The internet didn't work much in the room, but that wasn't a big deal for me. The villa is a bit uphill from the town and not an easy walk, though the staff were kind to continuously offer me drives. Good training for the gros piton hike :p

Pleasant
Pros:

We loved the view! They had a mini fridge and freezer. For someone traveling on a budget, this hotel is good.

Cons:

There was not always someone there to ask questions. They do not have parking spots so had to park at random openings on the property. The pool was closed. There were a lot of openings to the outside so bugs easily got in. This is an old rundown hotel but for someone on a budget, it gets the job done.

Nice due to the staff and location. We learned to live with the disfunctional kitchens/bathrooms.
Pros:

The staff was extremely nice, kind and helpful and did their best.
The location great with stunning views to Des Pitons.
Many things close by to explore.
Beautiful hummingbirds in the garden.

Cons:

I don't know where to start, but the Villa de Pitons did not meet our expectations. It is in need of many upgrades - both the rooms as well as the building itself. Many parts of the building was not used - probably due to the repairs and upkeep needed. There are no guard/security at the entrance, which we noticed that most other hotels had. We were the only people staying there and we're beginning to understand why. It's simply not up to just a normal standard. The first room we got - the A/C did not work. We had to move to another room after 2 days. The TV in the new room did not work. The fridge in the new room had no freezer unit so we had to carry the fridge from our first room ourselves to the new room. Couldn't let the fragile ladies at the hotel do that ! The kitchen in both rooms were poorly lit. Mostly the 2nd one. The propane bottle couldn't reach the cooker on the kitchen table so the tank had to be placed on a chair so ensure connection. The bathrooms needs significant upgrades. The tile work I think a 6year old kid could do better. The showers were mediocre at best. The shower unit in the new room was terrible. Broken and only water coming out of one side. Would not recommend Villa Des Pitons to elderly couples or families with kids. There are incredible many steps. For young people who are backpack traveling and perhaps used to hostels, the Villa Des Pitons would be fine. It's affordable but still not cheap and would have expected a little more standard features (not luxury - just commonplace). We made the best out or our stay. We can say it was an "exclusive" hotel as we were the only people staying there, so we had the pool for ourselves. Pool is not big so it would be a problem had there been more people staying. The Jacuzzi/hot-tub did not work was left disused with a lot of debris (leaves) in it. Bit of a sad sight. The photos on Booking.

This villa is definitely going down hill drastically
Pros:

Amazing view!
The overall health and appearance of the building has gone downhill. As of our visit (2023) there’s a dirty pool, no spa, no food/bar at the villa and no one is ever working on site.
The room we had was clean, and pretty nice, great view of the piton. A couple downsides are that the toilet would get backed up and stink up the place, and the bug nets for the beds have holes in them.

If you want to support local and stay at a charming hotel in the hills with the most epic views.
Pros:

The most beautiful views and lovely loft style room in a rustic hotel with Caribbean flair. The staff was accomodating and welcoming.

Cons:

No direct access to food - though the owner was incredibly helpful in giving us a lift to their restaurant in town for breakfast every day. The hotel needs a bit of work but the rooms are great. The pool ladder was broken which was a danger to little kids.

Charming resort for budget travelers
Pros:

The view was lovely! Nelcie went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and try to tackle any issues as they presented themselves. The property is old and dated, but it adds to the older charm of the resort. We got to enjoy some of their buffet lunch, which was very gracious of them.

Cons:

The bed is extremely firm. Trouble with the TV. We had to watch YouTube for in room entertainment. Then the remote went out one night. Staff had departed so we had to wait until the next day to get assistance. There was no fan and a small AC unit so we were warm sleeping up in the loft. Some amenities weren't really operational. It had great potential, it just needs a little love.

It was an okay stay.
Pros:

The views are unbeatable, unlimited and unobstructed.
Room smelled nice (lots of air fresheners seen)
Mosquito net over the bed
The pool is well kept. Access to pool 24/7.
The complimentary breakfast was great!
Staff are responsive when you see them or text them

Cons:

This property has so much potential to be a 5 star stay.
It is very outdated and run down. It doesn’t appear that anyone looks after the property.
The microwave in our room didn’t work. The door wouldn’t even shut.
There was the occasional insect crawling around, you had to ensure all food was stored away.
No staff onsite overnight. We were the only people there.
Loud music from the city or other resorts can be heard throughout the night
Bats are seen flying outside and heard in the roofs/at night in your room
Towels and bedsheets did not smell pleasant
No seating area in the room. I would recommend a nice sofa or seating area by the beds rather than another dining chair and table. The chairs are very uncomfortably to sit in, therefore your only option is to sit on your bed
