Een sereen gevoel in de jungle
Pros:

Deze plek is bijna een sprookje midden in de jungle. Wat een prachtig kamer hadden we.zo stijlvol ingericht en met liefde.ook de buiten tuin met al die prachtige vogels en aapjes.het eten was heerlijk van curry tot een sandwich. Dit is echt het mooiste wat we gezien tijds onze reis. De eigenaar en zijn personeel zijn zo vriendelijk. Je moet hier gewoon zijn geweest. Je voelt de rust van deze plek. Het kon niet beter. Dank jullie allemaal.

Cons:

Nou ik denk dat onze dagen op de malediven nu gaan tegen vallen. Niks is hier tegengevallen.

EXCELLENT! Looking forward to repeat it for a longer stay.
Pros:

The staff were very obliging and always willing to please us. The food was very good. The pool was clean and refreshing though we did not use it as we were more interested in enjoying the tranquility and nature surrounding us.

Cons:

We liked everything and there was nothing we disliked. The owner and all the staff were very informative and extremely helpful, including providing us a tuk tuk ride at our request to visit nearby places.

Luxurious, restorative treat - perfect place to spend my 50th birthday
Pros:

Stunning boutique hotel set in a jungle clearing, with thoughtful decor, great food and super friendly staff. The massage therapist is also excellent. Highly recommend. Our fave hotel in Sri Lanka!

Pros:

Super cadre, très belle piscine, chambre confortable, rideaux occultants, et personnel très gentil et à l’écoute.

Cons:

La douche ouverte sur l’extérieur est plus propice à l’entrée des insectes mais c’est le parti prix d’avoir une douche qui donne sur l’extérieur, pas vraiment un point négatif en soit.

Beautiful aur conditioned suite and surroundings. Wonderful staff. We also had dinner which was excellent, highly recommend. We only stayed one night which we would stayed another but too little time in Sri Lanka. Already recimmended to our friends!

Unpretentious luxury!
Pros:

A truly exceptional escape. Separate bungalows set in the jungle with a beautiful pool and covered outdoor restaurant. Decorated throughout with unique antiques. Close to Galle it is both remote and very civilised. Amazing attentive staff and delicious food.
We took an early morning boat trip on the river there which was such a peaceful way to enjoy nature.
Also, very good value for money.

Cons:

Nothing to dislike, everything was wonderful.

Perfect jungle feeling retreat to slow down!
Pros:

Wonderful retreat that feels like being right in a jungle oasis. The staff is super friendly and helpful! The food is top class, the rooms are very nice designed and big with a cool open air shower. Outside pool area feels also very cozy. All in all this feels like a luxury experience for a very fair price - fully recommend!

Pros:

L'établissement est situé dans un emplacement calme , verdoyant, reposant.
La décoration des chambres est minutieuse, raffinée, magnifique.
Les petits déjeuners sont copieux, équilibrés, avec une présentation détaillée, colorée.

Cons:

Quelques détails : il n'y avait pas de réfrigérateur dans la chambre ,ni bouteille d'eau minérale d'accueil (de l'eau était mise dans deux bouteilles en verre non cachetées ,non fraîches, ce qui dénote avec les prestations raffinées de l'établissement).
Notre climatisation fonctionnait mal , il a fallu programmer la température à 18°pour avoir un peu de fraîcheur et elle était très bruyante.

Mooie lodge op een prachtige plek
Pros:

De ligging aan overgebleven jungle met apen, mooie vogels, leguanen, eekhoorns etc. Je hebt echt het idee dat je op een bijzondere plek bent. De apen springen van boom tot boom boven je hoofd terwijl je aan het douchen bent. Iedere ochtend 2 hele mooie gekleurde vogeltjes die zichzelf in de badkamer spiegel bewonderen
De decoraties die overal staan ( jammer dat je ze niet kan kopen) De kamer die bij inchecken versierd is met mooi blad en bloemetjes.
Mooi zwembad wat ook echt verfrissend is.
Het lekkere verse en kleurrijke ontbijt
De twee lieve hondjes Sheba en Rexxi
We hebben 1 nacht de standaard kamer gehad deze hadden we op het laatste moment nog geboekt omdat we de reis iets hadden aangepast en daarna 6 nachten de luxe kamer. Als ik eerlijk ben vond ik de standaard kamer fijner. Deze had ook een buiten badkamer maar toch iets minder buiten en grenst net iets minder aan de jungle met alle voordelen wat mij betreft.

Cons:

Het vegen van blaadjes en bloemetjes die uit de bomen rondom het zwembad op de grond vielen. Super overdreven om dit de hele dag door te doen. Je zit in de natuur, als dit 3 of 4 keer per dag gedaan wordt is dat prima.
Dat er om 17.45 aan je deur van je huisje wordt geklopt terwijl je net even lekker op je bed ligt te genieten van de airco, met de vraag of je ‘s avonds komt eten en of je vast een keuze uit de menu kaart wil maken en hoe laat je wil eten “ we hebben vakantie “ we zien wel. Na 2 keer zijn ze er wel mee gestopt op aangeven van ons dat we dat niet prettig vonden.
In de luxe kamer die een grote buiten badkamer heeft die aan de jungle grenst met alle gevolgen: grote Huntsman spinnen (niet de fout van het hotel maar ik ben bang voor spinnen) 2 waren er achter mijn douche schuim gaan zitten en 1 keer ‘s avonds laat op de muur bij de wastafel.

Le site dans la forêt avec des singes en prime
Le petit déjeuner excellent aussi bien en goût qu’en présentation

Il manque un frigo dans la twin et dans la double

Fantastisch, genoten van dit pareltje vlakbij Galle.
Pros:

Wat een heerlijke plek in Sri Lanka. Je wordt in de watten gelegd.
Het is een plek waar ze zoveel mogelijk natuurlijke materialen gebruiken en zo min mogelijk plastic. Geen plastic waterflessen, maar wel gefilterd water tot je beschikking.

Beautiful, peaceful, relaxing hotel
Pros:

GinGanga Lodge is an exceptional place to stay. The surroundings are beautiful and the staff extremely helpful. They have allowed us to stay on when our flights were cancelled.
Each room is decorated with amazing artefacts and the swimming pool is perfect.
Excellent breakfast I can’t praise this place enough
