Cabanas zien er leuk en gezellig uit
Bedden zijn enorm hard, zowel mijn vriend en ik veel last van onze rug, de muren zijn erg dun dus je wordt erg wakker van omgevingsgeluiden
Good location, it's 100m walking from the beach,but you don't swim there because there are a lot of boats.it's 6-7 minutes walking on the beach to the nearest restaurants and shops. Nice room and garden. Good air-conditioning.
No shoap, the room could be cleaner, the owner is a bit weird about selling you stuff, but you may kindly say no. Also, many dogs outside, but we didn't have a problem. No one cleaned our room for three nights. Make sure you contact the owner before reaching there, because he told us he was about to give our room.

Die Unterkunft liegt super günstig nur wenige Meter vom Strand entfernt. Die Zimmer sind zwar klimatisiert aber einfach und klein.
Für den Preis bekommt man im Landesinneren deutlich luxuriösere Unterkünfte. Der Besitzer ist sehr geschäftstüchtig und versucht einem ständig noch etwas zusätzlich zu verkaufen. Etwas zu aufdringlich für unseren Geschmack. Obwohl wir mit zwei Kindern zu viert waren, haben wir erst mal nur drei Kissen, drei Decken und drei Handtücher bekommen. Wir mussten mehrfach nachfragen bis wir mehr erhalten haben. Vielleicht ist es auch mit den Englischkenntnissen der Mitarbeiter nicht weit her. Hinzu kommt dass das Bad etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist und ein paar mehr Haken für Handtücher, Ablageflächen, Klopapierhalter etc. schön wären. Insgesamt wirkt die ganze Ausstattung einfach super billig, von den Handtüchern bis zu den Decken.

Very quiet and nice place😊. The people that work there are very nice people. I loved my little cabin and whith a nice sitting area outside. Near the beach 🌊. I would come here again for sure
The rooms are designed uniquely, allowing you to fully appreciate the location. The owner is very friendly and will accommodate your requests at any time. He has valuable local contacts, but you’re welcome to explore other transportation options if you prefer.
No complimentary water
This is a really nice and inexpensive hotel. The owners are very friendly and are always willing to help or change things if possible. For example, I needed a desk in my room and they supplied it right away. They also put in a mini fridge in my room. The gardener / housekeeper is very friendly and helpful and the owner is also always available for queries. The restaurant near the hotel (same owner) La Bashi serves great food at very good rates.
The hotel does not have many of the advertised features. This is not a deal breaker for me and I thought that the place is still very much worth the money and a great place to stay in. There is no private kitchen. The owner offered to supply a mini-stove for me, but there are no supplies like pans, knives etc. I was happy without a kitchen because there are many inexpensive restaurants close by. Also, the sea view is only very small and the hotel is 100m walk to the beach through a very dirty pathway where people are burning their garbage. There are no amenities. Every morning there is loud music from the temple which I found charming but may disturb you if you like to sleep in late. The rooms look out on a garden courtyard which doubles as a parking space from which you have no sea view as there is a high wall around it.

The staff wasn’t very present.
Staff was really helpful with organizing trips, taxi services, etc. Excellent breakfast (a la carte with local and western choices). Very close to the beach (about 50m, but beach bars and restaurants about another 300m). Shops, ATM and pharmacy in walking distance.
Mosquito nets had some holes, but there was a very few mosquitos.
Great stay at Dot Bey Beach Cabana. The bungalows are located close to the beach and close to the family restaurant which is really nice. We took our breakfast there. Very quiet and friendly staff.
The owner is really helpful and can help organize a dolphin trip. Everyone is actually really friendly and service oriented.
The room was nice, comfortable and with a pretty good bathroom.
All the staff, and specially Thena, really work hard and make an efford for everyone to be comfortable and help with everything, from activities to transportation.
The location is super close to the beach and within 15 min walk from the beach area with restaurants.
The AC room is 5 USD more expensive than the fan one, and the fan is too loud and not enough to keep you cool, because Trinco is quite warm.
Breakfast is not included but you cna get it near (in La Bashi) for a reasonable price and really well done.
Stayed here with our 16 year old ,we wanted to experience staying in a cabana . Great location, very close to the beach, sea safe for swimming and beach clean compared to Trincomalee beaches. Host and his family were so friendly and helpful. Organised our boat trip, tuk tuk rides and onwards travel. Food at their restaurant was excellent, tasty , freshly cooked and good price. So glad we stayed here and not at one of the bigger commercialised properties. Great value. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Simple but good standard bungalows.Location was good,close to the main beach and Main Street.Breakfast in their restaurant was also nice and affordable.The owner kindly accommodated us in one of the rooms before check in time,so we can rest after long night train journey.He recommended also couple places around to eat.

Nothing that i can think of,we have been told we can use kettle in the kitchen but the kettle wasn’t there most of the time
