Good for near access to the beach
Pros:

Very near to the beach, but the property has no direct front access to the beach.

Cons:

The room was advertised to have a balcony with sea view but this is not the case. The balcony is facing an empty plot of land. Owners did not acknowledge that the advertisement can be misleading. They charged more for a room with a “sea view”. Also on the day of arrival, we were asked to choose a breakfast for the next morning, we choose Sri Lankan breakfast, next morning came and we asked and seems like they completely forgot our order.

Big clean room, great location and friendly staff

Situated right on the beach with large comfortable room. They lent out snorkels to swim with the turtles.

Cons:

l'environnement: arrivée à la plage très sale, un tas de gravas sur la plage , transat de piètre qualité et des coussins sales, les photos ne correspondent pas à la réalité. Elles sont anciennes apparemment. La terrasse a été détruite sur ordre et les matériaux sont restés sur place. une grosse canalisation d'eau pluviales? arrive au niveau de la plage privée,
Petit déjeuner correct mais sans plus . Bien diffèrent du standard Sri Lankais.
Clim qui coulent juste au dessus de la porte d'entrée de chaque chambre.

Top locatie aan het mooiste strand, maar service kan beter
Pros:

De kamer was echt super netjes en schoon, daar hebben we niets op aan te merken. Alles zag er verzorgd uit en dat gaf meteen een prettig gevoel tijdens ons verblijf. De ligging van het hotel is ook echt super, direct aan een mooi strand waar je zelfs schildpadden kunt zien. Wij vonden dit persoonlijk zelfs het mooiste stukje van Dikwella en Hiriketiya.

Cons:

Het personeel bestaat uit een jonge groep jongens en één dame. Ze doen echt hun best en zijn vriendelijk, maar het mist nog aan ervaring en aansturing. Daardoor zijn het net niet de puntjes op de i. Soms merk je dat ook in de sfeer; zo zitten ze bijvoorbeeld als groep op het strand en gaan ze zelf ook het water in, wat voor ons minder professioneel overkwam.
Ook het eten en drinken was net niet wat het had kunnen zijn. Met wat meer aandacht en afwerking zou dit echt een stuk beter kunnen worden.

Pros:

Hotellet ligger praktisk talt på stranden, og de har gratis solsenger. Upåklagelig beliggenhet. Fornuftige priser på både opphold og i restauranten. Personalet var veldig hyggelige og hjelpsomme. Like bortenfor slippes det ut babyskilpadder cirka en gang i uken. De ringte oss fra hotellet og sa fra den dagen det skulle skje i løpet av den tiden vi var der. Det var et eventyr å få oppleve!

Cons:

Det var litt synd at restauranten ikke er på stranden lenger.

I had a wonderful stay at White Lion Paradise. The hospitality provided by the owner was truly exceptional—they were very welcoming, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The staff were equally friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile.

The food was absolutely delicious, with great taste and quality that made every meal enjoyable. The room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, which added to the overall pleasant experience.

Enjoyable stay
Pros:

The staff were amazing. All the guys who looked after us in the restaurant and on the beach were always smiling, singing and dancing. The location is perfect, right on the beach with plenty of sun loungers. The bed was comfortable and the shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. We stayed in a triple room so that we could lay our clothes out on the single bed. The room was large with a good sized balcony and it was bright with good lighting. It was also very peaceful.

Cons:

A slight issue is that while the room appeared at first glance to be clean we found that the dressing table and bedside cabinets could not have been moved for cleaning in a very long time. There was dust and dirt behind them.
The bedding and towels were clean but stained. The bathroom attachments are rusty and the I had to clean the glass shelf above the basin when we arrived.
During our 8 weeks in Sri Lanka we stayed in many places, some much cheaper than here and they were spotlessly clean. Overall we enjoyed our stay here. A bit more attention to cleanliness and maintenance and the score would have been a 10.
