The owners took very good care of me as if I were a family member, even though we've never met before. "Guest is God" was the way they treated me.
Prior to my arrival I ordered Indian cosmetics for personal purposes & got it delivered to the hotel.
The taxi driver was waiting at the airport exit, carrying a paper with my name on it, printed in color. I felt immediately welcome.
Overall, I stayed 2,5 weeks. The first couple of days I stayed in the ground floor non A/C room, which I booked online. I had a very good sleep being tired after the long travel. Later I decided to upgrade to an A/C room upstairs, which was larger, offered more light and space and especially was quieter. I felt like a princess in the Sky Palace.
The owner guys (Winfred, Christoph & their helper Binu) showed me around; where to safely change money, which restaurants to visit, which places to go to, etc. They organised a tuk tuk or a taxi to take me to places. I had a very rich experience during the whole stay. Moreover, there is an ayurveda clinic SHIVA nearby, where I unexpectedly did 2 weeks of treatments, including a powerful panchakarma cleansing.
I did not eat in the hotel.

It was a very nice place in the heart of Kovalam. Everything around you feels magical — the music, the voices, and the atmosphere all gently influence your subconscious. That is what Kovalam is all about. The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were comfortable.

Expected more for the price and the location has no view. Plenty of places around that are half the price and same quality.

Ett utmärkt litet budgethotell som jag kan rekommendera. Läget är perfekt. Nära stranden och ändå väldigt tyst och lugnt. Fin personal.

I had a small, comfortable room with AC, and everything was clean and well organized. The staff were friendly and very helpful, which made my stay even better. I had a perfect stay in Kovalam and would definitely recommend this place.
