Ett utmärkt litet budgethotell som jag kan rekommendera. Läget är perfekt. Nära stranden och ändå väldigt tyst och lugnt. Fin personal.
I had a small, comfortable room with AC, and everything was clean and well organized. The staff were friendly and very helpful, which made my stay even better. I had a perfect stay in Kovalam and would definitely recommend this place.

Lovely spartan but comfortable room . Great access to small kitchen which was a big plus. Beautiful garden downstairs. Cool property close to the main beach nice big fridge in my room .

Our stay at Sky Palace Hotel in Kovalam was simply wonderful! If you're looking for a budget-friendly, clean, and comfortable place to stay with your family, or a solo this is it. The hotel is ideally located, just a short walk from the beach, yet tucked away in a peaceful area & few meters away to beach and lighthouse.
What truly made our experience exceptional was the warm hospitality of Mr. Welfred, the host and owner. He went above and beyond to make us feel at home — always available, kind, and extremely helpful with local tips, travel arrangements, and anything we needed.
The rooms were well-maintained, spacious, and perfect for a family. It’s rare to find such a well-run, welcoming place at such a reasonable price.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kovalam — whether you’re a solo traveler, a couple, or a family. We’ll definitely be back!

Everything wast best at this budget 👍
Everything was perfect. The room is nice and big with a super comfortable bed and I slept really well there. There is a beautiful little patio in front of each room to sit out and enjoy a coffee in the morning which will be served to you without wanting or waiting. Wilfred and his staff or so friendly and attentive, I felt really comfortable and welcome there. Christopher even brought me to my next destination in his tuk tuk for a very reasonable price. I would recommend anyone to stay there as my experience completely exceeded my expectations. Really great value for money!

Great, small, friendly hotel. Good location just moments from the beach but also nice and quiet. Room was lovely and clean and we had a big mug of coffee bought to us in the mornings. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. 🙏.
Unfortunately we had a disagreement with the manager over the price of some laundry.. we should have asked first.. be warned, to wash 10 pairs of socks will cost you 1000 rupees! To his credit, after an argument, he begrudgingly refunded the money and refused any payment for the laundry.. I gave half the money to the first begger who asked.

Really friendly staff. Nice area to sit outside your room. Big mugs of coffee brought to you in the morning and lovely cold beer whenever you want one! Worth having an AC room upstairs. Close to the beach and better shops than on the beachfront.

Th property owner was very rude. And after booking room and making multiple calls for payment, he ditched us in the last minute. Asked extra money, didn't care that we made booking when he got better rates the next day from another guest. We had to look for a new room around new year which was hectic. Worst work ethics.

Lovely staff who are helpful. The location is excellent as it’s so close to the beach but it’s super quiet. The breakfast was delicious and made to order so we could eat it on the balcony. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. It was so nice to have some hot water and a small line to hang swimwear on to dry. We would definitely stay here again.
People smoking on the balcony - we were lucky as smokers only started their stay as we were leaving but it carried across the balcony and into our room.
