Nice clean hotel - rooms small but nice with the refurb. The pool is awesome and should be used so much more.
Food is just awful - zero taste or seasoning and you have to wait literally for an hour + for food and drinks - I think I went to the bar three times to chase a beer - I could have leaned over and opened it myself in 30’seconds. Really bad service and food experience. Substandard for a city centre hotel.
Clean, organize, restaurant available at convenient, staff are really good.
WiFi wasn’t working at times.
Stayed here because was shopping in Tagbilaran.Nice foyer and easy access to parking lot and street. Had the twin room bit small, beds just ok, air conditioner good, refrigerator not cold, elevators fast, included breakfast reasonable, pool nice, big but shallow only up to my hips, good for kids. Can of San Miguel 195php I brought my own.Do not pay $9 for parking on booking it's free anyway.
Location
Buffet Breakfast
Inefficient Frontdesk Staff.
Stayed 5 nights at MetroCentre Hotel Bohol in a premium deluxe room on a business trip. I’ve travelled extensively — this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had.
Over the course of my stay, I had to return to reception six separate times because my room key stopped working. Six. Times. No apology, no urgency — just eye-roll service.
Rooms are noisy and disruptive — roosters at dawn, dogs barking, loud music at night. If you’re expecting rest, don’t book here.
Restaurant: Total letdown. Staff outnumber the customers, but still no one takes your order. Food is overpriced and bland. Honestly, you’ll eat better at the nearby McDonald’s.
Breakfast buffet: Pathetic. The omelette station is the only salvageable part. Everything else looks like leftovers from a boarding school cafeteria.
Laundry disaster: I handed in some business shirts to be washed — they came back shrunken by three sizes. Completely destroyed. I’m in the garment business, and I had to explain to the manager, Rex, that re-washing them (his brilliant solution) won’t fix heat damage. Took three days before he even showed his face, then blamed his staff, brushed it off, and said, “We won’t charge you.” As if that was some kind of favour.
The front desk staff seem decent — but they’re being let down by weak, unprofessional management that hides from problems, takes no ownership, and treats business guests like a nuisance.
This isn’t a business hotel. It’s a cautionary tale. Noisy, rooms, broken systems, and disgraceful leadership. I won’t be back — and if you value your time and sanity, neither should you.
The place was good and very accessible to everyone.
The bed need to be changed , is not safety and comfortable for me scared to get broken.
The rooms had a very strong smell of dampness and stale air.
