Er was weinig licht in de slaapkamer. Veel heuvels om op te lopen naar je kamer. Weinig sfeer in het restaurant en de bar. Donkere kleuren bruin zijn niet gezellig. Alles was er maar wij werden er depressief.

Beautiful stay in a tropical oasis I would do again!
Pros:

Absolutely stunning property that lets you really enjoy the serenity of nature. The staff is absolutely wonderful and really prioritize your comfort!

Cons:

The only issue was weak water pressure which is somewhat to be expected.

Pros:

Very good location in the jungle. Although some bungalows are closer to the road, there is minimal traffic in the evening and overnight. The resort can arrange trips and guide services. The jungle walk and the path to the beach directly from the resort are pleasant bonuses if you want to go on a short hike.

Incredible experience at Atremaru (come prepared)
Pros:

I have never been in such a secluded place, so I enjoyed 100% the surrounding nature, the sounds of the birds and the animals, the overall quietness and the lovely and kind staff who did everything they could to make our stay super pleasurable <3

Cons:

I liked everything, but be aware that it gets very quiet, especially at night, so you need to either enjoy the karaoke by yourself or engage with chit chat with the staff to keep yourself company! I feel like the jungle walk and the way towards the coast can be a bit daunting for these reasons too. It would be great to have fitness classes or yoga classes in the nature happening every day or that you can book last minute (if you wanna book one of their tours, remember to reserve your spot early!)

Pros:

Beautiful surroundings in the middle of rainforest. Rooms are very large but a bit worn out.
Please note it is located in the middle of nowhere so own car helps a lot.
Visit nearby Hundred Caves - excelent experience.

Cons:

Lack of AC could be problematic, especially in the room located beneath the sun terrace by the pool. The bathroom has got only partial walls separating from the room, so you can feel and smell everything from the bathroom.
The food portions in the restaurant are the smallest I have ever seen (and the prices are not small). Many times lack of some dishes. Missing mango in south-east Asia is embarrassing.
Staff is really nice but I think something is wrong with managing.

Dommage pour le bruit la nuit….
Pros:

Super accueil du personnel, toujours souriant à l’accueil et au restaurant.

Cons:

Notre chambre familiale était TRÈS bruyante la nuit (passage voitures, motos) car située près de la route, pas exactement ce que nous attendions d’un endroit aussi “paisible” et pas de possibilités de changer de chambre… dommage ça gâche vraiment l’ensemble. Pas d’eau chaude mais nous le savions au départ par contre pas du tout d’eau le matin du second jour…

Real Jungle retreat away from the crowds
Pros:

Quiet, peaceful, real jungle retreat. Our room was huge and beds were comfortable. Their traditional Filipino breakfast was delicious. Waking up to the sound of birds was a bliss. I was not bothered by the fact that all rooms and villas are on a hill. I actually liked it. We had an ocean view.

Cons:

I think the place had its glamour long time ago. It is now fading with some areas not maintained at all. This doesn't impact the room quality at all. Just the general vibe. There was barely any warm water but I think it's an issue across the island.

Pros:

The setting and style of the accommodation blew us away after our more budget-friendly stays. To have two bedrooms, a lounge and terrace was incredible and we lived the views and hearing nature all around us. All the staff were really friendly and helpful.

Cons:

This is a specialised jungle resort but we found the location to be too remote for us. It's great if you just want to relax in the resort, organise tours or have your own transport.

Pros:

Hôtel vieillissant dont le rapport qualité -prix n’est pas satisfaisant. Les serviettes éponges sont vieilles et tachées , la piscine est tournée…la salle de bain n’est pas avenante, des troncs d’arbres étaient abandonnés proche de notre hébergement. Dommage car le site et le personnel sont chouettes.

La salle de bain et le linge de bain, les crottes de souris sur le papier toilette

Wonderful stay
Pros:

We fell in love with this place and kept extending our stay. All staff should be commended, especially Ms Novie at the reception. The minor limitations that come with the concept of an ecologically run hotel did bot bother us at all.

Cons:

In the standard room the fan was much too loud to keep on at night, should be replaced with a quiet one.
