The hotel property and staff are amazing; the location and services offered are excellent, and everyone is friendly. I loved the dog hosting option too, although I didn't bring my pet. I recommend the hotel for a winter experience for skiing or a sports experience during the summer.
We came in the summer season; the hotel offers many sports activities; however, it doesn't offer low-impact sports activities and tours during the summer time.

No allergen information provided. Staff didn’t read our special request for a gluten free diet. The gluten free breakfast wasn’t ready.
We booked a takeaway breakfast with a 5:00am pick up. When we came to collect it, no one was on reception. It took 20 minutes to find someone.
We paid a €6 service fee to have a set of cutlery delivered to our room.
Now the biggest issue: some guests had an assigned table for breakfast, usually the best table near the window, but we couldn’t book a table for ourselves. When we asked staff why some people could book a table and we couldn’t, there was no logical answer.

The guides were excellent for the walking and bike tours. Everything about the hotel was 1st class. Dinner menu was a little confusing at first
Perfect location to base out of to tour the dolomites. We were able to easily drive to the lifts and hikes in the area. The room was so sophisticated and comfortable. We enjoyed the spa and pool as well. We highly recommend this hotel.

2nd time here and brought the family this time. They loved it. A special treat for them all. Loved every minute of our stay here. All the staff lovely and helpful as usual. Cocktails great Francesco, Mirko thank u again. Went beyond to help with everything. Food was lovely as always. Can’t wait to return next year.

Perfekt
The hotel fulfills expectations on every level. The service is highly professional from arrival at the front desk, followed by the food and beverage department and on to the support staff.
We took four rooms for a week, and my adult children each had a superior room which were in the newer wing, each of which was large and beautifully appointed. One had an enormous terrace and two had large balconies which were all perfect for late afternoon sun. We on the other hand took a Dolomites suite, which being set on a corner was an odd shape and didn’t get the sun at the end of the day. Whilst it was a large room with 2 bathrooms and a separate sitting area I really didn’t like the orientation. A purely personal gripe, but the bed and the wall facing it were at an odd tangent. I also thought the electric fire a bit unnecessary. If you are going to include a fire make it a real one as they do at the Almhof Schneider in Lech. Frankly a superior room might be better than the suite.
The rooms were always spotlessly made up on our return from a day on the slopes and the turn down service always a nice touch.
Drinks in the bar pre dinner were always good, and the restaurant experience under Nadia’s supervision impeccable. My daughter is intolerant to many things, and nothing was too much trouble to Nadia or the kitchen. The daily dinner selection is huge.
On leaving the hotel the reception called to say we had left some luggage in one of the rooms, and one of their drivers drove towards us as we drove back to the hotel which was extremely helpful.
Overall this is a stunning 5 star hotel which delivers on every level. Any negativity in my review is much more to do with my personal preference than outright criticism. The skiing experience in Selva is so far above the more well known and popular ski resorts in France and Austria. So without a doubt we’ll be back next year.

Restrict to wear seimsuits, really, bearing in mind that all tourists are internationals with their own culture
We choose this hotel mostly for spa facilities - whic our son of 14Y cannot visit … after whole day of skiing without visit sauna make all of my family unhappy
For all under 16Y access only pool with small sauna (where swimsuits become bot so “dangerous” as in adults saunas
Hotel: the hotel was perfect for our family of 4, 2 adults 2 teens. We had a large suiite, really spacious and modern with 2 separate sleeping areas and 2 bathrooms. The spa is really lovely with a choice of saunas, steams and relaxation areas. It never seemed crowded, a perfect way to end a day on the slopes.
Our package was half board, a daily breakfast with everything you’d want, and quality evening meals offering an array of traditional and European foods. You can eat as much or as little as you want from the buffet or à la carte menu. Overall the hotel has a quality feel, a large inviting bar area and modern ski locker room.
Location: the only consideration is that the hotel
Is not ski in ski out, however the daily private shuttle
Is prompt and efficient and the nearest lifts are only a short walk away.
Service:the service in the hotel has been all in all fantastic, I want to highlight Nadia our waitress in the restaurant, she is absolutely superb, makes you feel so welcome, she would be an asset in any restaurant or fine dining establishment, absolute quality. She was away one evening and I had to ask for someone to take our food request and had no desert due to the waitress not being attentive.
Skiing: the ski area is so vast, I would however say if you are a beginner then some of the runs will be challenging, if you are intermediate or advanced then you will absolutely love the Dolomites, the snow quality this week has been absolutely superb and the Sallaronda is a great tour for anyone to complete.
