Pros:

Très belle chambre avec balcon. Il n'y avait pas de miroir "en pied"...le personnel m'en a apporté un très grand. Le restaurant végétarien est très bon. Le chef est très attentif. Une belle tortue réside sur la terrasse. Situé dans le fort, cet hôtel est proche de tout ce qui s'y visite. Un rickshow est toujours possible pour s'y rendre depuis l'entrée du fort. Je recommande !

Desert sunrise from your bed, dinner & music under the stars. Total comfort.
Pros:

In the heart of the golden city’s fortress, the views of the desert beyond, the sunrise from our kings bedroom balcony and cosy beds, the sunset and delicious dinner on the rooftop where Piku the tortoise lives, the surprise the hotel laid on just for us, live music from an internationally acclaimed trio. The exchange of life experiences with the hotels father and son over breakfast. We felt truly relaxed and welcome. The havelli, KD palace hotel is a real gem!

View to die for with an overall excellent hotel experience
Pros:

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Service from me getting there to the time I departed was excellent. A taxi cannot get to the hotel - excellent communication and assist from hotel staff made this a breeze. Similar assist was provided when I departed.

My room was modern with an excellent bathroom - I enjoy this !!

Everyone at this hotel are most kind and very helpful.

Roof top views - just excellent

Pros:

Très bien placé dans le fort. Le personnel très à l'écoute. Je n'avais pas de grand miroir dans la chambre avec balcon et ils en ont trouvé un très vite.

The balcony with a great view was a blessing
Pros:

Location is perfect-The hotel is right in the center of the fort. The room has a large balcony with a fantastic view. The hotel staff are all friendly and helpful-above all Rajeev, the owner and Mahendra, the manager. They were always ready to make me happy. Thanks to the hotel, my one week stay in Jaisalmer turned out to be a colorful and enlightening holiday!

Not accessible by car. Hotel arranges a bike to transport from fort gate.

Magnificent Fort stay!
Pros:

The location and style of hotel is one of the best in Rajasthan! Staying inside the fort allowed for walking through the streets at all times - particularly when tourists were not there. The room was magnificent, decorated in typical Rajasthani fabrics, textures and furniture. The modern bathroom was functional and clean...but the views from the room and balcony were exceptional.

Cons:

Whilst the staff tried their best, it seemed they were not well trained. Breakfast was very average and did not meet expectations of having coffee, eggs, toast, fruit etc., which I would have expected from a hotel with such a high room cost. Getting in/out of hotel is difficult with luggage, as bags (and people) are carried on a normal single person motor bike! We opted to walk, whilst bags were transported - if bags were dropped on cobble stones, there could have been a big mess?

Heritage hotel all'interno del forte
Pros:

L’hotel si trova all’interno del forte, in una posizione molto suggestiva e ricca di fascino. La struttura è un bellissimo heritage hotel, curato e ben mantenuto, che permette di vivere un’atmosfera autentica e caratteristica. La nostra camera, situata al primo piano, era dotata di letti comodi, bagno con set di cortesia e asciugacapelli.
Molto piacevole anche la colazione servita à la carte sul rooftop, in una location davvero incantevole con vista panoramica, anche se con scelta un po’ limitata.

Cons:

L’accesso all’hotel è consentito solo tramite tuk tuk o mezzi a due ruote. Al nostro arrivo, tuttavia, non ci è stato garantito il transfer con tuk tuk e abbiamo dovuto raggiungere la struttura a piedi, mentre i nostri bagagli sono stati trasportati in modo piuttosto precario su una moto.
La camera affacciava sulla strada principale del mercato: una posizione pittoresca ma molto rumorosa, con attività fino a tarda notte e risveglio anticipato al mattino. Purtroppo questo ha influito sulla qualità del riposo.
