I had a very disappointing experience staying at Rainbow Cottage. 😡🫩 I stayed in a large 4-bedded dormitory room, but the overall experience was far below expectations.

The room itself was spacious enough, but the blanket felt like it had not been properly washed.

There were no hangers in either the bedroom or the bathroom. This meant that while taking a shower, you practically had to keep your clothes in your hand. 😅🤣

There was no full-time hot water supply. We had to inform the staff around 20 minutes in advance to switch on the heater, and they would turn it off again after a short time.

Some common areas, such as the handwash area and passage lights, were switched off during the daytime, which made using those spaces uncomfortable.
The room had a TV, but it was not working.

The Wi-Fi signal showed only one or two bars, and there was virtually no internet access. We stayed for one full day with six people, and none of us were able to use the internet even once. When we asked the staff about it, we were told that the signal would be available after 12:00 midnight. 🤣

Other issues we faced included:

Broken window glass.

An unclean bathroom.

The WC water tank was in terrible condition, with a lot of fungus/mold buildup. I was genuinely concerned that using this water for personal hygiene could cause health issues.

Water from the wash basin leaked onto the floor.
There were no universal charging sockets available.

On a positive note, one of the room boys from Kerala was very helpful and supportive during our stay.

Overall, this was a very poor experience, and I believe the property needs significant improvements in cleanliness, maintenance, and guest comfort. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this property based on my experience.

Pros:

All the facilities at the cottage was brilliant and staff is also very supportive. Always preferable for girls .

I went with my family and friends. I booked a double deluxe room for my family first. Then my friends joined for the trip. I asked the restaurant for an additional room, and they told me, You come, let's see for the room. And they were also given a room for my friends. My room is priced at 9k for 3 nights for me, my wife, my 2 children (10 & 7 years old). My friends were paid for the same room for just 1500 per day. They are 3 adults. They betrayed me
