Worth 4* rating, but lacking energy/connection. Time for next generation to step up with changes
Pros:

Location is top, but feels a bit like you are in a car park rather than an alpine valley.
Service was always with a smile and a joke. Good banter.
Best breakfast ever (5 types of butter, 4 types of honey, 16 juices...)
Best Wellness ever (5 different saunas, ice rub, spring water drink fountain, pool, jacuzzi etc)

Cons:

Reception and hotel bar, plus staircases... the silver and purple colour scheme, deep pile carpets and oversize furniture... all felt a bit 1990s when the interiors trends have moved on... to softer neutral colours and more eco-wood and mid-century vibes.

Good enough that we will be back in 2027
Pros:

The family. They know your name♥️ They arrange details for your excursionsas well as our personal needs. Example, my son was sick and they got us in with the doctor in town asap. I got sick. They prepared a sick tray of fluids for me.
Every morning you have the same table and same server at breakfast which was wonderful.
My husband and I are already planning to come back in 2027. Definitely worth the visit.
And if family owned businesses are as important to you as it is with our family, you will love it here.
Decor - well done
Ski room - well done
Bar - well done and bartender was lovely
Spa - really nice.

Cons:

Housecleaning didn't always understand and wait for a response before entering.

Professionalità e disponibilità dello staff.

Cons:

Il bagno con doccia chiuso solo da vetri parzialmente opacizzati, a me e a mia moglie, non piacciono particolarmente.
La privacy in certe situazioni secondo noi vale più del design.

L’hotel è nuovo e molto curato. Ottimo servizio, ci hanno dato un upgrade gratuito della stanza con una confortevole junior suite. Tutto perfetto.

Pros:

It’s a family-ran hotel and you can really feel it - everybody is very attentive and makes all guests feel special. The breakfast was excellent, we also enjoyed the fantastic SPA - spacious, clean and well-maintained. We couldn’t wish for a better location - we visited in summer and it was very convenient to get to the trails. We visited other towns in the valley and we liked Selva the most - so you can stop searching and go book Laurin for your next stay!

Pros:

A family-owned hotel in an ideal location for exploring Val Gardena. The staff was exceptionally nice and welcoming, I would also highlight how clean and put together everything was. We had a great stay!

Pros:

Luxusni hotel s vybornym personalem a velmi dobra lokace. Krasny velky indoor pool.

Cons:

Nebot jsme na hotelu s detmi, tak bychom privitali o neco lepe vybavenou hernicku. Ale to je jen velmi maly nedostatek.

My wife and want to thank the hotel for doing an excellent job .
Pros:

My wife and I travel a lot , and we only stay a few days in each place so we stay in many hotels on every trip .
We have stayed in good hotels and some that aren’t as good , not very often we find a hotel that I can call special . The Laurin is special , well maintained, clean, well decorated , great Location. The staff is excellent everyone I dealt with was helpful and friendly .
When I arrived to check in the young man at the desk stood up and shook my hand to welcome me .
When we left the owners or mangers both shook my hand to thank me for staying with them .
Every request I had they helped me with !
The room was beautiful, parking on site ! Breakfast was very nice , the people working in breakfast were friendly and helpful as well .
