Frühstück normal, keine Abwechslung

Gutes Hotel mit allem was man braucht, war alles gut.
Hervorragende Lage man ist in 5 Minuten in der Stadt.
Parkplatz vorhanden auch für tiefere Sportwagen.

Emplacement très central. Accueil sympathique et efficace. Belle piscine. Bon et riche petit déjeuner

Close to centre and comfortable

We had a lovely two week stay at the beginning of August. We were a family of four, I booked through the hotel and we had a room for four. There was plenty of room for my husband and two daughters. We also had a spacious bathroom.
The pool was lovely, we always managed to get sunbeds together. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a week here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff are really friendly and we had a problem with the shutter on the door and reported it to reception and it was soon repaired and the breakfast had a great choice and was plentiful all in all a great holiday and would recommend pool area great and plenty of sunbeds

This was my first Solo holiday so was incredibly nervous. My room was perfect and the cleanest room I have ever stayed in. The balcony was more than big enough. The biggest plus to this beautiful hotel is the family that run it so friendly and welcoming. Drinks are incredibly fair priced and the location is perfect, few minutes walk to the bus station. The lake is just an easy 5 minute walk. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Super Frühstücksbuffet. Ausreichende Parkplätze vorhanden. Poolbereich sehr sauber. Wassertemperatur top.

We had a fantastic 11 night stay at the Idania Hotel, possibly the cleanest hotel we've ever stayed in, All staff and owners were very friendly and helpful, hotel is perfectly located and a great pool area, would recommend this hotel to anyone after a proper authentic Italian stay. We will be back soon.

Just had a week here,first time for us in the Italian Lakes , the pictures do not do this hotel justice , location was perfect for eating and shopping,everything was immaculately clean , couldn’t fault anything apart from road noise when sunbathing,the local council really ought to clamp down on the boy racer noisy exhaust brigade , the family that run it are great and really friendly , couldn’t fault anything

Arrived in the morning but got room right away. Very friendly staff. Nice room but no balcony. Aircon was fine but needed to be. Storage poor but no fridge. Pristine hotel with old world charm. Pool fantastic but needed to be as it was so hot. Breakfast was fabulous. Load of variety. Would return in a moment. Cheapest beer in Bardolino. Drinks always delivered to pool area by great staff.

Our first visit to Italy and it didn’t disappoint Hotel Idania is perfectly located for sightseeing, eating and drinking with wonderful bars and restaurants on the doorstep & less than a 10 minute walk from the lake and Ferry landing.
Hotel Idania is family ran, beautiful and clean. Staff were all extremely helpful and friendly
However our room was disappointing.
Pool area was lovely although can be noisy as situated next to a main road.

PROS: brilliant location close to all the shops, bars and restaurants.
Less than 10 min walk from the lake and Ferry Landing. Excellent for visiting other places around the lake
Hotel was beautiful and clean; new bed linen and towels daily
Safe in room free of charge
Aircon on room
Staff extremely helpful and friendly
Wonderful buffet breakfast
Pool waitress service for drinks ice cream and snacks
Well stocked bar
24 hr reception
Lift to rooms
Tv in room (didn’t have time or inclination to watch but was there )

CONS: ROOM No 119 was the only negative .
Very dated . Very small . Single file only round bed
Tiny bathroom . Toilet was partially under the sink
Old shower cubicle . Shelf for shampoo etc very loose
Only 2 plug sockets in whole room ; 1 either side of bed . None at Dressing table and mirror- no sockets at all for hair styling
No fridge - nowhere to keep water etc in room cool
Hairdryer - 😂 was not fit for purpose was in bathroom and very low power
*** Discovered other rooms have been updated sadly not 119

However the pros definitely outweighed the cons . We would definitely stay at Idania again but would request an updated room
