Posizione e servizi
Nada. Todo fue genial
The location is beautiful and the hotel looks great.
The breakfast was not very generous.
Se localiza en el lugar perfecto
Szuper hely, a vendéglátás magas foka, számunkra 5 csillagos élményt adott. Letisztult, elegáns, modern design. Az ágy kényelmes. Tökéletes tisztaság, szuper reggeli és vacsora. Rendkívül kedves személyzet.
Amazing view, overall is a pleasant stay
We don’t like the fact that we need to sit at the same allocated table throughout our two-night stay. We did not get a chance to sit at a window seat even though we arrived early for breakfast. Additionally, the pool was only open for three hours in the afternoon and does not open in the morning.
Staff kindness especially in the restaurant, the view of the hotel is amazing, cleanness of the overall facility
Limited time for using a sauna, no elevator up to the top floor (didn’t expect stairs from the second floor), limited view of the top floor.
I liked everything about this place .. Very stylish and exceptional accomodations... Great Staff .. Superb Dinner .. Excellent Parking and Good Location re Hiking
Breakfast Fruit Salad was OK but not Great .. Granola was too sweet
We spent 5 nights at Hotel Schmung in mid-July, 2024. It is conveniently located in Compatsch, making it easy to access the many hiking trails available on Alpe de Siusi. We took a gondola from the nearby bus stop to travel up to Compatsch. Someone from the hotel came to pick us up near the gondola promptly after they were called.
When we arrived at the hotel, we were enthusiastically greeted by Helga, the manager of the facility. Our room was large and comfortable, with an outside balcony and views to the mountains. The gondolas travel very close to the hotel, and they were fun to watch as they traveled past our room. They are quiet during operation and stop running early in the evening, so they are not disruptive. We also enjoyed the chance to observe the agricultural activities taking place on the huge alpine meadow. The farmers were cutting and collecting hay on slopes as steep as 45 degrees, and cows outfitted with bells grazed on the pastures.
Hotel rates included breakfast and dinner, and the food was excellent. All of the staff were cheerful, helpful, and committed to doing a great job for the guests. We received useful advice about hiking trail options, which was helpful. All-in-all, this is a first-class facility that is very well-managed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and when it was time to leave, Helga gave us a ride back to the gondola for the tri back down.
The rooms are not air-conditioned (like most hotels in the area) and we had some hot weather. The air temperatures cool down significantly at night, so it wasn't a big problem.
