The Shiga Kogen Express Line bus from Nagano Station East Exit takes approximately 90 minutes and leaves for Okushiga Kogen at the following times:
9:05 / 10:15 / 11:20 / 12:30* / 14:10 / 15:05 / 17:20
*Please note, guests taking the 12:30 bus bound for Hotaru Hot Spring from Nagano Station East Exit must get off the bus at Hasuike at 13:41, and then take the Shiga Kogen Ski Shuttle Bus bound for Okushiga Kogen Hotel at 14:27.

Very pleasant stay at an extremely convenient property.
Pros:

The location was immediately opposite 2 ski lifts and one minute's walk to the bus stop for the bus from and to Nagano Station. There was a HUGE (and very cheap) selection of ski/snowboard equipment and clothing for hire. You could literally rent anything.

Cons:

The rooms could have had a bit more decoration . . .

Sunny Shiga offered an insight of a traditional Japanese experience. Which we throughly enjoyed.
Pros:

Location, staff and service was amazing.
My glasses broke and three people helped look for a tiny little screw and then offered me two pairs of theirs. So kind.
I’m vegetarian and they were again as accommodating as they could be. Was a little similar each night!
Osen facilities were really enjoyable especially after a day of sking.

Cons:

Paying for the water could be better explained before we booked or while we booking.

食事の配膳スタッフさんの接客が気持ち良い。
各階に給湯室、トイレかあり便利。

自販機はあるが、新札、新500円硬貨が使えない、両替機も故障中だった。

コスパは悪く無かった
Pros:

有料だったが早朝の到着後すぐに部屋に入れ、和室へも変更（アップグレード）してくれた。また、チェックアウト後には無料でお風呂にも入れた。

Cons:

食事の内容が修学旅行生対応のように思えて残念だった

Japanese skiing experience was awesome. Shiga Kogen shows how Japanese people enjoy skiing

Good location to ski lifts, ticket office and shuttle bus.

Cons:

Could only lock up narrow waisted skis in the ski room. At 100mm waist mine were too wide to fit in their locks.

Pros:

The staff were wonderful especially the ladies making and serving the food. Dinner was good but breakfast lacked variety and any fruit.
We had a noisy room near the lift initial but were changed to a quiet room after requesting.

Cons:

There was a large school and university group there initially who were noisy at times and meant a crowded onsen.

很棒的住宿和滑雪體驗很想再來！

無可挑剔的服務和窩心的微笑！
有很多方面都是意料之外的體驗。
1. 雖然是雙床房間但額外還有附和室，房間空間十分寬裕還有床可以選睡，我們三人家庭待得很舒服
2. 所有員工都非常和有禮貌，尤其是餐廳裡的老員工十分的親切，雖然言語不通我們還是能感受到他們的熱情和投入！
3. 櫃檯有會說英語的服務員，她是萬能的員工，櫃檯、餐廳、小賣部她都要幫忙，非常喜歡她！
4. 飯店有提供雪具租用，非常便宜沒煩惱！
5. 一宿兩泊很划算，每天晚餐都有點變化充滿特色和驚喜，吃了四個晚上也不膩！
6. 飯店坐落在高天原滑雪場剛好也是志賀中央區的正中間面對東館山，ski in / ski out 很方便。能力足夠還可以去一之瀨、西館山、發哺滑雪場，不用買All mountain 劵也能滑3-4天。

Wonderful staff, great location, hot onsen and spacious room.
Pros:

Sunny Shiga was a typical Japanese style ski hotel. We love the Japanese rooms (have skied in Japan manay times) and the onsen downtairs was excellent. Right across the road from a couple of lifts making it simple to ski the extent of the Shiga Kogen connected resorts. Great value for money too. If you have expectations of a western experience, then maybe look eslewhere, but if you love a propoer Japanese style ski accommodation, consider Sunny Shiga.

Cons:

We chose halfboard (breakfast and dinner) which I highly recommend in Shiga Kogen. Our meals were great, but after a few nights felt a little same-ish. But other than that lots of tasty food, ate way too much. It wonldn't stop us staying here again.

Nice hotel, great location, friendly staff
Pros:

The hotel was a short 2 min walk to the ski lodge and lift - absolutely perfect! It was also right next to the bus stop where we were picked up by the Nagano express. The staff were very nice and helpful.

Cons:

The facilities are old and outdated (our shower wasnt working so it was considered a room without a bathroom). But everything is clean.
