Pros:

Clean and beautiful room in peaceful street.
Friendly and welcoming staff with easy check-in.
So close to Peace Park and great little restaurants and shops.
Good to so easily be able to leave our bags there in the morning - although would have liked to have time to stay longer!

Extra touch with having information on places to eat and maps available.
Great rooms and laundry facilites

Cons:

The bed was really soft and low to the ground. It was 2 mattresses stacked on each other - possibly so they can easily provide futons instead? And the curtains didnt stop light coming in at the edges and head of one of the beds so 5am wake ups.

Best hotel I stayed at in Japan so far!
Pros:

Best bang for buck hotel I stayed at in Japan. Had a big, well equipped room sporting AC, heating, fridge, microwave, second sink for dishes and stuff, separate toilet, big shower room with bath tub as well as a TV. Everything was squeaky clean and basically looked brand new. As a bonus, the floor was made from tatami mats!
Another big plus were the washing / tumble drying machines. They were completely free to use and actually got the job done, unlike in some other hotels.
The common room in the basement also offered free tea / coffee, which was nice.

Last but not least, the hotel is close to a tram station and the A-bomb memorial park is reachable by foot.

Cons:

Some furniture on the balcony would've been nice.
