Pros:

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location was excellent, within easy reach of Dotonbori. We stayed on the 27th floor, and the breathtaking city views were definitely a highlight of our stay.

Excelente hotel en el Corazón de Namba
Pros:

Excelente hotel, llegas caminando en 15 minutos a Dotomburi, buena ubicación en Namba, cerquísima de estaciones y transporte público. Me perdí muchas veces pero es porque Osaka es una ciudad complicada para mí.

Osaka 3 night Stay
Pros:

I loved that it was so.comfortable with everything we needed in our room. The view was amazing. You could simply lay in bed an watch the city of Osaka. We had a club floor room. The club room staff were exceptional. We had a very late flight. They.looked after us so thay we were comfortable until we needed to head.to the airport. The cocktail food and drinks were really good! Delicious with such a variety of food.

Cons:

I guess the only thing would be that there is no spa, sauna or pool. It would be perfect with one of these without the cost.of going to the Spa service and pay.to use their facilities.

Premium hotel in the heart of Osaka
Pros:

Centara Grand Osaka is a beautiful luxury hotel with elegant design, excellent facilities and a comfortable, premium atmosphere. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the hotel itself has the quality and appearance one would expect from a high-end property.

I would particularly like to thank the receptionist who helped us move to a quieter room on a higher floor. He was kind, professional and efficient, resolving the issue in less than 15 minutes. My sincere thanks also go to Paul, another manager, who showed genuine hospitality and professionalism by arranging breakfast for us in the hotel lounge on our final morning.

These team members demonstrated that excellent customer service is ultimately about listening to guests, taking responsibility and finding practical solutions. Their efforts made a real difference to our stay. Although I was very upset given the issues we faced at check-in, the attitude of these gentlemen made me rate the property with 10/10.

Cons:

We spent ten days traveling around Japan, and Centara Grand Osaka was the hotel we had the highest expectations of. Given its luxury positioning and the approximately €1,500 we paid for our three-night stay, the initial experience was particularly disappointing.

At check-in, we were informed that breakfast was not included in our reservation, despite my clearly remembering selecting a rate that included it. What disappointed me most was the way the General Manager, Agnes, handled the situation. Rather than offering a clear and fair solution, she repeatedly gave generic apologies without meaningfully addressing the problem.

After considerable insistence, she offered breakfast for one morning, but then rolled her eyes and asked whether I wanted complimentary breakfast for all three days. I found this attitude unprofessional and dismissive. I know what I booked, and guests should not be made to feel as though they are asking for a favour when trying to receive what they believe was included in their reservation. Discrepancies in the hotel’s system should not become the guest’s responsibility.

We were also initially assigned a room directly above the train tracks, where the noise made it extremely difficult to rest. When I raised the issue, Agnes initially insisted that moving us to a quieter room was impossible. Yet a helpful receptionist resolved the problem in less than 15 minutes by arranging a room on a higher floor.

Mistakes can happen at any hotel, but the way they are handled makes all the difference. At a luxury property such as Centara, I expected more flexibility, accountability and empathy. Being so inflexible over a breakfast issue, while failing to address the noise problem constructively, fell well below the standard I would expect.

I am grateful to the staff members who ultimately helped us, but the initial handling of these issues significantly affected our experience.

The views are incredible, the rooms was big and very comfortable.

Cons:

Pricey with no extras included. At other hotels for a similar price we’ve had laundry service, free beer in the afternoon etc.
