Pros:

המלון קצת מיושן והאוכל דורש הסתגלות. אבל סך הכל התמורה למחיר מאוד טובה. הארוחות מאוד מושקעות למרות שהן מאוד יפניות. יש בריכה שפתוחה בסוף שבוע במלון השכן, יש שם גם מגלשה נחמדה - מאוד נחמד עם הילדים. האונסון מאוד מאורגן ומסודר (ציבורי, אין אפשרות להזמין זמן פרטי). סך הכל מאוד נהנינו אבל כמו שכתבתי - החדרים מרגישים קצת מיושנים והאוכל לא מתאים לכולם.

Interesting location for exploring Kiso
Pros:

Very convenient for Magome, Japanese meals were exceptionally well presented.

Comfortable but dated
Pros:

Good sized comfortable rooms. Nice onsen facilities (indoor and outdoor) and the aquatic centre next door is great for kids. The dinner and breakfast were great and high end.

Cons:

The facility itself is a bit tired and dated. Our room was very hot (in winter) and we could not rune the heating down any further (had to open the window. Price was more than I expected to pay for something of this standard - maybe becuase of the dinner.

The presentation of food was top-notch the overall taste was maybe a 7 out of 10. We had a very peaceful sleep. The buzz

It was very peaceful and a short taxi to Magome to catch the bus for our hike

Cons:

Spot area for the hot springs was nice.
I don’t think it’s good to say to bring the large and small towel because when you do that, that means you have nothing left in the room unless you request some more towels fortunately, we had left one large towel in the room which we used for our shower the next day. We know it’s an older hotel and it was a bit rundown in areas, but we still appreciated. The Japanese authenticity and the staff were extremely wonderful.

Great room, food, and onsen
Pros:

The location was out of the way from the Nakasendo Kaido but everything about the hotel was great. The onsen was very nice-the water or whatever was put in the water was great for the skin. The dinner and breakfasts were amazing.

Cons:

Nothing other than the location.

Pros:

We had a very nice experience. The hotel is very family oriented and quite. Breakfast and dinner were included; multi-course meals; very tasty; very attentive staff. Onsen was clean and never crowded. It's a bit out of the way but nice to get away from all the crowds.

Charming hotel, lovely staff, delicious food and wonderful onsen
Pros:

Wonderful overall. Friendly staff who spoke great English.
Standard Japanese style room. Delicious dinner and breakfast - local Kaiseki cuisine.
The onsen was adequate. We didn’t try the adjacent onsen facilities but you can use it for free. Conveniently located near a bus stop.

Cons:

The facility was a little aged.

Too expensive for what you receive.
Pros:

Food is great but for one day, the following days is almost the same.

Personal are so nice and kind.

Cons:

The rooms are very very small, the bathroom is like a campervan bathroom. Too expensive (the most expensive we paid in Japan) for what you receive. The spa (onsen) is ok, well equipped but you should stay there because the rooms are not nice, pleasant nor comfortable.
The music in the corridors is so annoying, and the elevator door literally can kill you. It closes, and it closes, no sensor to reopen.
They advertise that you can use the onsen next door, but it is a public one that is not worth if you have the one at the hotel.

Pros:

温泉の泉質も清潔感も最高でした。部屋についてはお値段の割に狭く、ロビーも椅子もなかったので年長者である私にはとてもきつかったです。夕食はどれも手が込んでいて美味しかったのですが少量ずつかなり間を取って運ばれるのでぼぉーっと待っている時間がよくありました。朝食はおいしく種類も多くておいしく頂きました。スタッフのみなさんはどの方も親切で感じが良かったです。お世話になりました。

Il personale è stato gentilissimo. Ottimo soggiorno da fare soprattutto dopo Tsumago-Magome per rilassarsi anche perché

Non si può entrare in onsen con i tattoo, quindi ho dovuto acquistare dei cerotti per coprirli
