Pros:

Les consignes pour accéder aux logements étaient très claires, nous avons rencontrés aucune difficulté. Chambre spacieuse, propre et très bien équipée ! L’emplacement est pratique et un parking gratuit est disponible.

Cons:

Les murs sont assez fin mais nous n’avons pas vraiment été gêné par les autres clients.

Feels like home away from home!
Pros:

The location is good not so far from the historical site. The place is clean, quiet, and private with a nice view of the cherry blossom tree on the window.

Cons:

The location on Google map is a bit confusing. The place has no elevator, so it's a problem when you travel with family with many luggages.

Very comfortable, quiet spacious. More like a small apartment.

Cons:

No on-site staff so felt more like an AirBNB. There was supposed to be a free shuttle bus to the bus station but it didn't show up and there was no information about how to book. Some guidelines about noise and respecting other guests would be be helpful

Nice location, room was clean and had everything

Cons:

Note that there is a separate building which is not in the main hotel, about 60m from it, and some of the rooms are being booked in the main hotel but are moved to this other location.

Breakfast is only from 7:30 which is late for people who needs to get on the road.

The front desk gentleman, was how to say it gently, not much of a people person....

Pros:

It was nice being close to Shirakawago. A quick drive away or you can walk too! The hotel was nice, quiet, staff friendly and helpful! It snowed and they brushed off our car windshield without us even asking as we were checking out -- so helpful and thoughtful. There's a little fridge in the room and a kettle. Overall clean! Space under beds to store items as well.

Cons:

The beds were pretty stiff and hard. Most restaurants nearby close very early so plan out meals in advance! One convenience store down the street and all items go quickly as everyone staying in the town seems to go there.

Great location, cute stay.
Pros:

Lovely house with private bathroom. Clean and spacious. Walking distance from shirakawago tourist town so you don’t have to wait in traffic jam.

Cons:

Not really a dislike but the bed was a bit harder than I’m used to.
