Ocean Village Club (Adults Only)

This place is absolutely beautiful! We had the most amazing few days here. The photos do not do the rooms or place justice - it is immaculate and stunning! The food was so delicious (you have to get a Swahili chicken wrap!) and we loved the variety of dishes on the menu every night. What really makes this place so special though is the incredible staff - I wish we had everyone’s name to thank them all from the chefs, security, concierge, grounds keepers, house keeping and all the waiters. Just to name a few of the lovely people who made our stay perfect - Jackson, Dedan, Mwanarusi, Ahmed and Nina we cannot thank them (and everyone else) enough! Thank you all so much and we can’t wait to come back!

We had the most amazing stay at Ocean Village Club and genuinely couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The hotel is beautiful, with stunning tropical grounds, a gorgeous beach and such a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere.

From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. We arrived very late in the evening and the staff had thoughtfully prepared dinner for us and brought it directly to our room, which was such a lovely touch after a long journey and immediately made us feel so well looked after.

What really sets Ocean Village Club apart is the exceptional staff. Every member of the team was warm, welcoming and genuinely cared about making our stay special.

A huge thank you to Ishmail and Ali on reception, who were always so welcoming, attentive and helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Thank you also to Ali, who took our bags to our room on arrival and gave us such a lovely welcome.

Hamisi also deserves a special mention for always being so attentive and making us feel incredibly welcome throughout our stay.

An extra special thank you to Simon, our waiter, who was absolutely outstanding. He looked after us brilliantly and always had such an excellent and friendly manner. He was attentive, genuine and personable, always taking the time to chat and making sure we had everything we needed.

We’d also like to thank Patrick, our room attendant, who did a fantastic job. Our room was always spotless and beautifully presented, and we really appreciated his care and attention throughout our stay.

The food was excellent, with plenty of variety, and combined with the beautiful surroundings and exceptional service, our stay couldn’t have been better.

A genuine 10/10 experience and one of the highlights of our trip to Kenya. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so memorable. We were very sad to leave and would absolutely love to return!

Absolutely amazing location and property, you can truly relax there!

We stayed for 9 days and thoroughly enjoyed each day!

The staff were always warm, professional and went out of their way to ensure our needs were met at all times. The menu was well curated, the food was always fresh and the portions were generous; I highly recommend the red snapper. On our last day, we were treated to a custom, traditional meal, which was a very thoughtful touch. We made full use of the facilities (sun beds, pool, table tennis, pentangue) which were always kept in good condition.

All in all, OVC is the ideal beach getaway if tranquility, delicious food, and exceptional service are what you desire. We would do it over again in a heartbeat.

Es war eine wunderschöne Unterkunft!

Unterkunft: Wunderschöne, ruhige Anlage mit einem liebevoll gepflegten Garten. Die Unterkunft ist angenehm klein und nicht überlaufen, was für eine sehr entspannte Atmosphäre sorgt. Die Mitarbeitenden waren ausgesprochen freundlich, herzlich und zuvorkommend.
Essen: Wer Fleisch und Fisch isst, kommt hier kulinarisch voll auf seine Kosten. Gleichzeitig gibt es auch viele leckere vegetarische Varianten, sodass für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei ist.

The friendly staff always do welcoming nothing was too much for them . Big shout out to Jackson continue to shine, you made mu stay memorable. Shout out to Juma for those delicious banana pancakes. Hasinil for always checking up with me 🫶🏽

Ocean village club is a lovely, quiet hotel with very friendly and attentive staff. It's the kind of place you go when you need to relax completely.

Attentiveness of the staff - literally nothing was too much to ask. Every member of staff we met was a credit to the hotel, and a perfect example of how to deliver fabulous customer service

I had a wonderful stay and I happily rate this place 10/10. The apartments are nicely designed, spacious and comfortable and the whole property has a lovely atmosphere. I especially loved the beautiful garden, the easy beach access, and the stunning beach right in front of the property. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help.

There are a few small things that could be improved, but they honestly didn’t affect my stay. The TV isn’t a smart TV, so there are no streaming apps, and there’s no gym.

That said, none of this really mattered to me. When you’re staying in such a beautiful place, you hardly spend any time indoors anyway. I genuinely loved my stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway.

It was fine

Fantastisk service og svært hyggelig personale. Maten var fantastisk. Ala-carte til middag og buffet til frokost med masse utvalg. Nydelig hage med masse fine planter, trær og blomster. Fine fasiliteter slik som nydelig strand, basseng som var hele 2,5 meter dypt, og aktiviteter som tennis, bordtennis, diverse spill. Rommene var store og lokalisert nærme sjøen. Atmosfæren var veldig avslappende og behagelig. Et mindre hotell som gjorde at servicen ble veldig bra og personlig.

Clean and modern hotel. Food is amazing with different menus everyday! Beautiful rooms and property.
Literally on the beach too - so beautiful sunrises and on a clear night can see the stars!
All Staff go above and beyond, and all very accommodating and attentive to guests.
The Kitchen very kindly accommodated my requests for kaimatis which were made fresh that morning which were exceptional. They also kindly arranged pick up and drop off for me which was a bonus!
Close by to all major attractions in Diani.
Felt very looked after here by the lovely staff at OVC and would not hesitate to book here again.

This was a gorgeous, clean and modern stay. We loved that it was adults only. The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect for us. A special shout out the barman, Cloud, who made our stay very welcoming.

Food: I enjoyed breakfast, the lunch à la carte menu and the dinner options. For breakfast you get eggs made to order (scrambled, sunny side up or omelette), crepes if you want something sweet, plus a generous variety of fruits and fresh juices — and prosecco for the brave ones. Lunch was great too, I’d recommend the pizza, the tuna sandwich or the catch of the day. I tried two other restaurants nearby for lunch thinking I might be missing out, but Ocean Village Club had the best food of the three. Dinner deserves a special mention: super tasty, generous portions, with a great variety of land, sea and veggie options every night.

Drinks: Amazing fresh juices, the beetroot and grapefruit one (or a mix of both) was a favorite. Good selection of local beers, decent wines (tried both red and white) and tasty cocktails.

Facilities: Great atmosphere around the property. There’s a tennis court, table tennis and a small library if you feel like reading. The pool area was quiet, and the sun beds were comfortable — they even offer yoga mats for extra comfort. It has an intimate setup, most guests were couples.

Spa: I had 3 massages during my stay, the therapist was excellent. I’d recommend the Kenyan massage.

Rooms: Spacious, spotless and the beds were very comfortable.

The hotel is beautiful, well-located on the seafront, and truly comfortable. The room was spacious and very nice. The staff was always courteous and helpful, offering assistance with any needs (such as check-out).
