We could not stay due to the mistake from the hotel
The room was very clean, comfortable and very spacious.
The food served at breakfast seemed old and turns out it was as 3 people from my group unfortunately got food poisoning.
We had one night at 3 arch resort and were very comfortable. The 2 family rooms were a great size, the view from the balcony was amazing.
The staff were all very attentive and friendly.
Breakfast was plentiful and good.
We would definitely stay again.

Bathroom Not Enough lighting
We loved the size of the family suite, the location close to town but away from the noise. (You will need a car or tuk tuk to get around as it's at the end of a steep road). The kind staff and great breakfast and dinner options. The bed was very large and comfortable and the room had A/C (though not needed during our stay).
They also have shampoo and soap dispensers in the shower (which was also great, hot water, spacious and with 3 settings) instead of single use plastic. The welcome drink and cool towels when returning from the day's excursions was also a nice touch.
The roof in the bathroom needs to be replaced. It had a leak and some mold.

Room was spacious, huge bed and great view. Breakfast was good. Staff were helpful.
However, no air con. Just ceiling fan, and room got extremely hot with sun on it all day. There were vents in the windows which let in hot air/all the bugs didn’t have any netting over the vents. WiFi was bad, even after reception provided us with another router it was intermittent. The room/bed wasn’t cleaned each day and you would expect it for that price. The tuk tuk driver the reception called was the same driver each day and over charged us on multiple trips into town. You’re better off making your own plans.

The staff were lovely & helped me after a leech bite with first aid cleaning it with antiseptic.
We were out of the town but the hotel staff ordered us Tuk tuks which was no problem.

What a fantastic stay we had at 3 Arch Resort Ella. The setting is beautiful, the rooms clean and well furnished. Chithrani is the most professional hostess around. She keeps a close eye on everything and is always there for you if you have a question or request. We rented excellent scooters at 3 Arch Resort Ella for a very reasonable price and because we had completely filled the tank, we were allowed to take them back with us the next day. Really very hospitable. Her husband Chaminda is in Hotelschool principle and was also at the hotel during our stay. He took us to a cooking class where we learned to make the most delicious dishes in clay pots over an open fire. We enjoyed it immensely and can highly recommend it. We were pampered from start to finish. Nothing was a problem. The breakfast in the morning was beautifully prepared and completely tailored to our wishes. Wow, we enjoyed our visit to 3 Arch Resort Ella, thank you very much for your fantastic care Chaminda and Chithrani! All the best and hope to see you soon!

Slightly offbeat location
We loved our stay here! Very comfortable room. Stunning property. The breakfast was delicious. Staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. I am so happy our group stayed here!
We asked for a ground floor room with little stairs for our friend with crutches. The only ground floor room had stairs to go to the bathroom. Little inconvenient but just writing this here for people in wheelchairs. It worked out overall and we all loved staying here and the staff was very nice to bring breakfast down to her room so she didn’t need to go up all the stairs to the restaurant
