Our stay at Jungle Paradise was one of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka.

Before coming here, I wasn’t sure if Udawalawe Safari would be worth it, as I had heard that you mainly see elephants. I was completely wrong. The safari exceeded all my expectations. Our guide, Lasa, was knowledgeable, passionate about wildlife, and never rushed us. He stopped whenever we wanted to observe the animals and shared interesting facts throughout the tour. It was an unforgettable experience.

The hospitality at the hotel was just as memorable. Perfectly handled by Chathura. He was extremely friendly and so helpful.The breakfast after the safari was delicious, and every staff member was genuinely kind.

One moment that will stay with us was when the housekeeping lady gave my wife a small bouquet of flowers and hugged her before we left. It was such a warm and heartfelt gesture.

When we left Jungle Paradise, we realized that what made this place special was not only the safari, but also the wonderful people we met. Thank you for making our stay so meaningful. We hope to come back one day.

Very clean room and facilities were all top notch, appreciated especially the strong showers, big bathroom, and the friendliest staff who were the most accommodating and welcoming to our kids. This was our first stay and also first safari, which set a very high benchmark for the rest of our time in Sri Lanka.

Lasa our safari guide was an experienced gentleman with over 20 years of experience. He was able to bring us up close to the animals and knew the animal cues to allow us to approach safely. He was able to name all the brids that we saw accurately, and answered all our questions. Despite the rain, he was able to make the safari experience an enjoyable one. We strongly recommend a stay and a safari tour here.

Jungle Paradise was our favorite hotel during our safari trip. This hotel is incredibly affordable, and you get amazing value for your money.

Our room was huge—more like an apartment—with an incredible view. The swimming pool was large, beautiful, and very well maintained.

The breakfast was delicious, and they served the best coffee we had in Sri Lanka, freshly made from a proper coffee machine.

We went on a morning safari with the absolute best driver and guide. He was so kind to our children and to us. His name was Lasa, and we highly recommend booking your safari with him.

The service from everyone at Jungle Paradise was outstanding, especially Chathura, who made our stay even more enjoyable.

Our stay at Jungle paradise was fantastic. The staff were amazing, everything was spotless and the food was wonderful. Especially appreciated the coffee machine!! We booked our Safari with Jungle Paradise and Lasa our driver guide was by far the best guide we have had over 4 other safaris across SL! thoroughly recommend him, and his 15 years experience in the park was priceless!

We had the most beautiful 2 night stay at jungle paradise with my husband and 2 kids aged 5 and 7. The room was huge and had a gorgeous balcony overlooking the jungle. Pool was fabulous and we loved the food. We organised our safari through the hotel and it was amazing. Such a knowledgeable guide and we felt like we were the only ones out there. It was such a relaxing part of our beautiful Sri Lanka trip. Would highly recommend for a stay while exploring Udawalawe national park.

Un endroit parfait maintenue par une équipe dynamique. C'est un endroit très relaxant en retrait de tout. Proche du safari. Dîner et petit déjeuner très bon.

Hier passt alles zusammen! Es liegt ein wenig abseits und es ist nicht so einfach es gleich zu finden aber wenn man es gefunden hat, ist es eine Oase. Schön ruhig und bis zur Stadt ca. 8Min mit dem Auto.
Das Frühstück und auch das Abendessen war sehr gut!
Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und mit einem super schönen Balkon.
Alles war wirklich sehr gut und der Pool angenehm warm.

Super friendly staff who arranged everything for us; safari, tuk tuk into town etc. Very clean property and excellent value for money. Quite far from anything so arrive with any supplies you need.

Beautiful property in the jungle. Gardens and pool were beautiful and the room was big and clean. Lots of space and the view from the balcony was so peaceful.
Most of all the staff were just wonderful. We were travelling with our baby and they were so beautiful and kind to him, always wanting to play and smile with him.

We can’t say enough about this place! We only were able to stay one night but didn’t want to leave. The people who work here are so kind and accommodating; they are the highlight! We were taken care of by Chanuka and Chathura who went above and beyond helping us and making us feel welcome. We had delicious dinner and breakfast and the pool is so relaxing after a safari. The rooms are clean and spacious with lovely details. We hope to come back some day to meet our Sri Lankan hosts again.

Amazing property with clean and well aerated bedrooms and bathrooms. Friendly staff and great food. Excellent location. Can walk to nearby lake for bird watching which is another advantage. Awesome swimming pool with fresh water. The entire property is well maintained. Relaxed and comfortable stay.

Meilleur hôtel que nous avons fait au sri Lanka ! La chambre était superbe, le personnel d'une gentillesse incroyable et très proche de la réserve naturelle. Cet établissement est vraiment une pépite avec un rapport qualité prix incroyable !
Même l'accueil était génial : on nous a servi des serviettes fraiches et un délicieux jus de pastèque. Par ailleurs, l'hôtel nous avait préparé une box petit déjeuner car nous partions très tôt en safari le lendemain.

Staff went out of their way to look after us. We arrived in the middle of torrential downpour and they helped us to settle in despite some power cuts and needing to access power through the generator. Once the rain stopped everything ran as normal. Rooms spacious and well equipped. Staff assisted us to book a tour and provide breakfast before we went. Food was great!
